It is with deep sorrow that Greater Mymensingh Association, CUET mourns the untimely passing of our beloved brothers, Shanto Deb and Arnob Datta Chamok. After the tragic loss of Arnob Saha (ME’21), this is yet another heartbreaking loss that has left our CUET community in mourning. We extend our sincere condolences to their families, friends, and all those affected by this profound loss. May their souls rest in eternal peace. 🕊️🤍

Blessed with the gentle breeze of the Brahmaputra, the earthy aroma of its rural landscape, and lush greenery, Mymensingh is a unique paradise shaped by nature’s affection. Simplicity, warmth, and an extraordinary ability to make even strangers feel at home are qualities that seem to have been generously bestowed upon its people. Wherever they go, the sons and daughters of this land proudly carry with them the rich heritage, vibrant culture, and enduring love for humanity that define their hometown.

বিগত ১৯ জুলাই ২০২৬, রবিবার, বৃহত্তর ময়মনসিংহ এসোসিয়েশনের বার্ষিক সাধারণ সভা, বিদায় অনুষ্ঠান ও নবীনবরণ অনুষ্ঠিত হয়েছে। এতে প্রধান অতিথি হিসেবে উপস্থিত ছিলেন চুয়েট স্থাপত্য বিভাগের সহযোগী অধ্যাপক ও বৃহত্তর ময়মনসিংহ এসোসিয়েশনের মাননীয় উপদেষ্টা সজীব পাল স্যার এবং বিশেষ অতিথি হিসেবে উপস্থিত ছিলেন চুয়েট স্থাপত্য বিভাগের সহকারী অধ্যাপক নূর মোহাম্মদ খান ফাহাদ স্যার।

অনুষ্ঠানের শেষ পর্যায়ে মাননীয় অতিথিগণ ২০ ব্যাচের কমিটির সদস্যদের বিদায়ী ক্রেস্ট ও সার্টিফিকেট তুলে দেন। বিদায়ী ২০ ব্যাচের সদস্যরা বিগত এক বছরের কার্যক্রমসহ চুয়েট ক্যাম্পাসে বৃহত্তর ময়মনসিংহ এসোসিয়েশনের সাথে আবেগঘন স্মৃতিচারণা করেন। এরপর ২০ কমিটি “কার্যনির্বাহী কমিটি ২০২৫-২৬” (ব্যাচ ২১) ও “উপ-কার্যনির্বাহী কমিটি ২০২৫-২৬” (ব্যাচ ২২) ঘোষণা করে। নতুন কমিটির মাধ্যমে বৃহত্তর ময়মনসিংহ এসোসিয়েশন, চুয়েটের নতুন কমিটি ভবিষ্যৎ কার্যক্রম সুন্দরভাবে পরিচালনার আশা ব্যক্ত করে।

অনুষ্ঠানকে সকলের অংশগ্রহণমূলক করার উদ্দেশ্যে সবার জন্য কুইজের আয়োজন করা হয়। এছাড়া ২০ ব্যাচের বিদায়ী শিক্ষার্থীদের জন্য লটারি এবং বিগত এক বছরে বৃহত্তর ময়মনসিংহ এসোসিয়েশনের বিভিন্ন কার্যক্রমের পুরস্কার বিতরণী অনুষ্ঠিত হয়।

বিগত ১৯ জুলাই ২০২৬, রবিবার, বৃহত্তর ময়মনসিংহ এসোসিয়েশনের বার্ষিক সাধারণ সভা, বিদায় অনুষ্ঠান ও নবীনবরণ অনুষ্ঠিত হয়েছে। এতে প্রধান অতিথি হিসেবে উপস্থিত ছিলেন চুয়েট স্থাপত্য বিভাগের সহযোগী অধ্যাপক ও বৃহত্তর ময়মনসিংহ এসোসিয়েশনের মাননীয় উপদেষ্টা সজীব পাল স্যার এবং বিশেষ অতিথি হিসেবে উপস্থিত ছিলেন চুয়েট স্থাপত্য বিভাগের সহকারী অধ্যাপক নূর মোহাম্মদ খান ফাহাদ স্যার।

স্যারদের শুভেচ্ছা বক্তব্যে নবীনদের নিয়ে আশা এবং বৃহত্তর ময়মনসিংহ এসোসিয়েশনের ভবিষ্যৎ পথচলার দিকনির্দেশনা পাওয়া যায়। বর্ষার সজল বিকালের আয়োজনে নবীনদের হাতে তুলে দেওয়া হয় পরিবেশ বন্ধু গাছ। নবীনদের আগ্রহ, এসোসিয়েশন সদস্যদের উৎসাহমূলক অংশগ্রহণে অনুষ্ঠানের শুভ সূচনা ঘটে।
