আজ আইজিএমআইএস এর বিবিএ ২০তম ও সিএসই এর ২য় ব্যাচের অরিয়েন্টেশন প্রোগ্রাম অনুষ্ঠিত হয়। উক্ত অনুষ্ঠান আয়োজক কমিটির সাথে অধ্যক্ষ ও শিক্ষক আদনান তাহসিন আলমদার।

আজ বৃহষ্পতিবার, ২০ আগষ্ট ২০২৬ ইং আইজিএমআইএস কলেজে নবীন বরণ অনুষ্ঠান অনুষ্ঠিত হয়ছে।
অনুষ্ঠানে প্রধান অতিথি হিসেবে উপস্থিত ছিলেন আইজিএমআইএস কলেজ গভর্নিং বডির সভাপতি প্রফেসর বজলুর রহমান। বিশেষ অতিথি হিসেবে উপস্থিত ছিলেন ডায়মন্ড সিমেন্ট, বাংলাদেশ-এর প্রধান মার্কেটিং কর্মকর্তা মোঃ আব্দুর রহিম, শিক্ষার আলো পত্রিকার সম্পাদক জনাব পারভেজ, আইজিএমআইএস কলেজের শিক্ষক ও কর্পোরেট ট্রেইনার প্রফেসর মাহ্‌হিদুল হক এবং কলেজের শিক্ষক মোসাম্মাৎ পারভীন আক্তার। এছাড়া অনুষ্ঠানে উপস্থিত ছিলেন কলেজের সাবেক শিক্ষার্থী (এলামনাই) মোঃ এমরান ও খাজা শাফায়াত উদ্দিন। অনুষ্ঠানে উপস্থিত ছিলেন আইজিএমআইএস কলেজের অধ্যক্ষ এস. এম. জাকির হোসেন। অনুষ্ঠান সঞ্চালনা করেন কলেজের শিক্ষক জনাব আদনান তাহসিন আলমদার।
বক্তারা তাঁদের বক্তব্যে শিক্ষার্থীদের শুধু পরীক্ষায় ভালো ফলাফল অর্জনের ওপর নয়, বরং প্রকৃত জ্ঞান অর্জন, সময়ানুবর্তিতা, শৃঙ্খলা ও নৈতিকতার ওপর গুরুত্বারোপ করেন। এছাড়া বর্তমান প্রতিযোগিতামূলক বিশ্বে জ্ঞান অর্জনের পাশাপাশি সৃজনশীলতা, বিশ্লেষণী ক্ষমতা, নেতৃত্বের গুণ এবং আধুনিক প্রযুক্তির সঠিক ব্যবহারের গুরুত্বও তুলে ধরেন তাঁরা। অনুষ্ঠানে কলেজের শিক্ষার্থীরা উপস্থিত ছিলেন।

Samsung Headquarters discovered something alarming.

Its own engineers had been using ChatGPT to work faster. The problem was what they had pasted into it: confidential source code.

জীবন নিয়ে হাজারটা অভিযোগ তাইনা...?, এটা নেই - ওটা নেই, এটা পাইনা- ওটা পাইনা। এই ছেলেটার জীবন সংগ্রাম দেখলে সবিই ভুলে যাবেন।

ইসরাফিল দাড়িয়া (৪৫) মোটরসাইকেল চালিয়ে সংসার চালাতেন, গতকাল মঙ্গলবার (২২ জুলাই) ভোরে হঠাৎ অসুস্থ বোধ করলে হাসপাতালে নেয়া হয়, সকাল ৬টার দিকে তিনি না ফেরার দেশে পাড়ি জমান। স্ত্রী, দুই ছেলে ইমন ও ইকনকে নিয়ে উনার ছোট্ট সংসার। বড় ছেলে ইমনও একসময় বাবাকে সহযোগিতা করতে মোটরসাইকেল চালাতেন। তবে সড়ক দু'র্ঘ'ট'নায় আ/হ/ত হওয়ার পর তিনি মানসিক ভা/রসা/ম্য হারিয়ে ফেলেন। ফলে পরিবারের একমাত্র ভরসা হয়ে উঠেন ছোট ছেলে ১৮ বছরের ইকন, কারণ বাবার সামান্য আয়ে সংসার চলতোনা।

ইকন এ বছর এইচএসসি পরীক্ষা দিচ্ছেন বাগেরহাট খান জাহান আলী ডিগ্রি কলেজ থেকে। পড়াশোনার পাশাপাশি পরিবারের খরচ চালাতে বাগেরহাট শহরের রেলরোড এলাকায় কৃষি ব্যাংকের এটিএম বুথে রাতের শিফটে পার্টটাইম চাকরি করেন। বাবাকে হারানো, চাকরি, পরীক্ষা- এই এক কঠিন সমীকরণের মুখোমুখি ইকন।

গতকাল মঙ্গলবার বিকেলে বাবার দা/ফ/ন শেষে রাতেই তাকে কাজে ফিরে যেতে হয়। রাত ১০টার দিকেও তাকে এটিএম বুথে দায়িত্ব পালন করতে দেখা যায়। চোখে বাবাকে হারানোর অশ্রু, বুকভরা শোক; তবু থেমে থাকেনি সে। ইকনকে থামলে চলবেনা কারণ কাঁধে পরিবারের বড় দায়িত্ব আর আজ ২৩ জুলাই তার ইসলামের ইতিহাস ও সংস্কৃতি বিষয়ের পরীক্ষা! সবাই ইকনের জন্য দোয়া করবেন।
