The Department of English successfully conducted the Thesis Defence for the ENG 29 Batch, Summer 2026 trimester, today in Room 215 & 219. The event was graced by Professor Mainul Hasan Chowdhury, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities, Social Science, and Law, and Mr. A. S. M. Iftekarul Azam, Chairman of the Department of English, Md Rashed Khan Milon, Proctor of the university as well as other respected faculty members.

The first meeting of the Committee of Courses of the Department of Textile Engineering was successfully held on 21 September, 2026. The meeting was presided over by Mr. Md. Rezaul Karim, Chair of the Department and the Committee.
Prof. Dr. Engr. Mafzal Ahmed, Dean, Faculty of Science and Engineering joined the meeting along with the Assistant Professors: Mr. Zubair Bin Sayed, Mr. Md. Main Uddin, Mrs. Suraiya Sultana, and Mr. Jahid Khan. The committee also welcomed two external members: Prof. Dr. Md. Emdad Sarker of BUTEX, and Mr. Kumar Arindam Mitra, General Manager (Maintenance) at Ispahani Pahartoli Textiles Ltd.
The respected committee members shared their valuable guidelines and recommendations for updating the syllabus and curriculum to meet current academic and professional demands.
