Welcome to a new chapter of AUW MUN Club and introducing the Executive Board Members for the 2026–2027 cohort ✨

From the outside, it usually looks like conferences, speeches, and good memories. But every event starts with much more than what people actually get to see.

Before the debates begin, before the gavels fall, and before the event photos fill everyone’s feeds, there is always a team quietly trying to hold everything together behind the scenes. A few days before the event, the AUWMUN group chat slowly turns into a battlefield of missed calls, changing plans, and messages that start with “small update” but somehow become emergencies.

The President is revising schedules again, wondering how something so simple on paper became this chaotic. Then her phone rings : “We got the sponsor.” The Treasurer, exhausted from days of sponsorship follow-ups and budget calculations, finally sounds relieved. Somewhere else, the KEPZ Coordinator is stressing over registrations, transportation, and attendance until messages start appearing from students asking if registrations are still open because more people want to join. The Vice President keeps saying, “We’ll figure it out,” even when nobody fully knows how yet.

The General Secretary survives on reminders and deadlines that arrive too fast. Meanwhile, the Graphics Designer uploads the “Final version” of the poster, then edits it three more times because apparently fonts can start wars too. At the same time, the Social Media Manager is chasing one last reel, one last story, one last clip until the event suddenly starts reaching more people than expected and the MUN Facilitators patiently answer questions, hoping delegates feel excited instead of overwhelmed.

And then somehow, the event finally happens.
People debate.
People laugh.
People make memories.
Most people will only see the final event. They will never see the late-night fixes, silent worries, teamwork, and tiny miracles behind it all 💙

Stay tuned for upcoming activities, events, and lots of exciting moments ahead ✨

The dream team that made it all possible.

The AUW MUN Club now looks forward to a new dawn. This success gathering was organized to honor the pioneers who revived a club that once stood on the brink of extinction. A group of women driven by sheer duty, passion, and love for the craft.

The AUW MUN Club extends its heartfelt gratitude to each of these individuals for diligently carrying out their responsibilities and laying the foundation for a resilient legacy. We have always valued quality over quantity, and we will continue to uphold that principle.

Success, at the end of the day, is not defined by accolades or awards it is reflected in the smiles the club has brought to its members’ faces.

Once again, thank you for a remarkable inaugural year. Best of luck to the new team.

Signing off,
AUW MUN Club Executive Board 2025–2026

Day 2 of AUW Intra Model United Nations 💫

And just like that, our two-day journey comes to a close.

The AUWMUN Club extends its deepest gratitude to every delegate who showed up with passion and dedication, even while balancing quizzes, assignments, and classes. Your commitment truly defined the spirit of this conference. Watching AUW students rise, speak, and shine alongside our wonderful guest delegates from Chittagong University and East Delta University has been nothing short of inspiring.

To our chairpersons and vice-chairpersons; thank you for your patience, your guidance, and for nurturing confidence in every participant, step by step. You made each committee a space of learning.

To our room volunteers and organizing volunteers your energy, responsibility, and constant presence kept everything running smoothly. You are the quiet strength behind this success.

We are also deeply grateful to the maintenance, housekeeping, and security staff, whose support often goes unseen but never unfelt.

And finally, to the executive board, this conference exists because of your relentless effort, vision, and heart. You turned an idea into an experience we will all cherish.

As we close this chapter, we look ahead with hope to more intra MUNs, and soon, inter MUNs, because AUW women have stories, strength, and voices that deserve to be heard across the world.

Until then, take a walk down memory lane with glimpses from Day 2 and our closing ceremony. 🤍

And with that the signature event of the AUW Model United Nations Club comes to an end. Take a glimpse into the remarkable Day 1 of the conference which began with a heartfelt Opening Ceremony made possible through months of dedication, resilience, and collective effort. What once started as an idea slowly came to life through countless hours of planning, teamwork, and unwavering commitment.

Seeing students from Bangladesh and across the world come together sharing cultures, voices, and perspectives made every challenge along the way truly worth it. This moment is not just the start of a conference, but the realization of something we all worked so hard to build.

Here’s to new beginnings, meaningful conversations, and memories we’ll carry long after this journey ends.

As women in Iran look up at the sky with the terrifying knowledge that the next explosion could fall on a school or hospital, as mothers in Gaza weigh the unbearable question of whether life is meant to be lived under the shadow of constant destruction, as women in South Sudan, the Congo, and Ethiopia endure violence against their bodies while battling hunger, poverty, and war, as Uyghur women disappear into camps for the simple act of worship, as women in Japan and South Korea quietly reject to partake in reproducing a future that would oppress them, as millions of girls across the world are trafficked, violated, and robbed of childhood, and as the Epstein files force the world to confront the depths of exploitation that power has hidden for decades, one truth becomes impossible to ignore.

The world has never been gentle with its women.

And yet women continue to endure. They continue to resist systems that silence them, cultures that confine them, and powers that attempt to decide their worth. Across borders, languages, and histories, women keep fighting to be heard, to be seen, to live without fear. To refuse the lie that they must be enemies to one another.

International Women’s Day is a call to unlock doors that have been shut for generations, to create spaces where women do not have to fight just to belong, and to unlearn the stories that taught us that inequality was normal.
