⚖️ Beyond the Classroom: Court Visit 2026
The Department of Law, Britannia University successfully organized an educational Court Visit to the Cumilla Judge Court, offering students a valuable opportunity to witness the practical functioning of the judiciary.
Following a scheduled itinerary, students were divided into different groups and visited several courts, including the Family Appeal Court, Judicial Magistrate Court, Additional District & Sessions Judge Court, ACJM Court, and the District Legal Aid Office. They observed live court proceedings, interacted with judicial officials, and gained first-hand knowledge of courtroom procedures and the justice delivery system.
As a token of appreciation, the students presented crests and flowers to Saud Hasan, Judge of the Family Appeal Court and Monica Khan, Chief Legal Aid Officer (Joint District & Sessions Judge) in recognition of their valuable guidance, warm hospitality, and inspiring interaction throughout the visit.
The Department also extends its sincere gratitude to the Britannia University Alumni, who remained with the students throughout the entire visit, providing continuous support and guidance. The whole court visit was supervised under the supervision of Adv. Quazi Shah Paran and Adv Ismail Hossain, both of whose are the faculty members of the Department of Law, Britannia University.
This court visit served as a meaningful bridge between legal education and practical experience, strengthening students' understanding of the legal profession and the administration of justice.
