Abu Jamil Faisel, MBBS, DPM, MPH was invited by Prof Dr. Hasnat Alamgir to deliver a guest lecture on 26th November 2023.

Dr. Faisel is a public health physician with more than 33 years of diverse experience with family planning, reproductive health, Essential Services Package delivery program, and improving quality of services in Bangladesh.

Dr. Faisal enlightened the faculty members and the students about "The growing role of pharmacists in the healthcare system of Bangladesh.

Southeast Pharmacy Club (SEUPC) has successfully organized an awareness Seminar “Preventing Polycystic O***y Syndrome” on 29 September 2022 at SEU seminar hall, Banani, Dhaka.

The seminar focused on how we can prevent Polycystic O***y Syndrome. Prof. Dr. A.N.M. Meshquat Uddin, Honorable Advisor to BoT, SEU Trust chaired the session.

The keynote speaker of the seminar was Dr. Jahanara Ferdous Khan, Managing Director & Senior Consultant, Dr. Jhumu Khan's Laser Medical Center. Israt Jahan Bulbul, Assistant Professor, Department of Pharmacy, Dr. Nahid Akhter Jahan, Associate Professor & Chairman, Department of EEE and Sadia Siraj, Assistant Professor, Department of Law discussed the topic.

Ferdowsi Akter, Lecturer, Department of Pharmacy and Assistant Moderator of Southeast Pharmacy Club anchored the program. The program ended with a wonderful song by Dr. Jahanara Ferdous Khan.

Southeast Pharmacy Club (SEUPC) has successfully organized a Rally and Discussion Session “World Pharmacists Day 2022” on 25 September 2022 at SEU seminar hall, Banani, Dhaka.

The rally was conducted wearing T-shirts sponsored by Incepta Pharmaceuticals Limited.

The discussion session focused on the importance of Pharmacists in today’s world. The role and duties of pharmacists and many examples of their contributions were discussed.

Prof. Dr. AFM Mafizul Islam, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Southeast University, chaired the session while Prof. Dr. A.N.M. Meshquat Uddin, honorable Advisor to BoT, SEU Trust was present and motivated Students of Pharmacy to become better pharmacists in future. Prof. A.B.M. Faroque, Advisor dept. of Pharmacy Southeast University & Director Biomedical Research Center, DU shared his journey as a pharmacist and gave life lessons to all the future Pharmacists of SEU.

Dr. Md. Siddiqul Islam, Chairman, Dept. of Pharmacy delivered the welcome speech and Md. Mosiqur Rahman, Assistant Professor, Dept. of Pharmacy and Moderator of the Club delivered their important speech.

Israt Jahan Bulbul, Assistant Professor, Dept. of Pharmacy and Dr. Nusratun Nahar, Assistant Professor, Dept. of Pharmacy wonderfully anchored the program.
