বিজিএমইএ ইউনিভার্সিটি অব ফ্যাশন অ্যান্ড টেকনোলজি (BUFT)-এর বস্ত্রকৌশল বিভাগ ও বিজ্ঞান অনুষদের ডিন অধ্যাপক ড. মো. আব্দুল জলিল শিক্ষা, গবেষণা এবং একাডেমিক নেতৃত্বে তিন দশকেরও বেশি অভিজ্ঞতার অধিকারী।

Meet Your Professor | Prof. Dr. Md. Abdul Jalil

We are proud to introduce Prof. Dr. Md. Abdul Jalil, Dean of the Faculty of Textile Engineering and Faculty of Science. With more than 30 years of experience in higher education, research, and academic leadership, he has made remarkable contributions to sustainable textiles, advanced materials, environmental science, and innovation.

Holding a Ph.D. from Kanazawa University and a JSPS Postdoctoral Fellowship from Osaka University, Japan, Prof. Jalil has authored over 60 peer-reviewed research publications, led nationally and internationally funded research projects, and continues to mentor future textile professionals with global perspectives and academic excellence.

🍀A New Beginning for Our First B.Sc. Batch (Batch 222) 🍀

With immense pride and joy, the Department of Environmental Science, BUFT, celebrates the successful completion of our very first B.Sc. Batch - Batch 222.

From the very beginning, this pioneering group has been an integral part of our department’s journey. Throughout their academic years, they have gained knowledge, developed skills, and prepared themselves to take on the challenges of the professional world.

As they step into their careers, our graduates have the opportunity to contribute to diverse fields including environmental management, sustainability, research, industries, consultancy, and development sectors. Their dedication, professionalism, and achievements will not only shape their own futures but also represent the values and excellence of the Department of Environmental Science, BUFT.

Today, we bid farewell to three valued members of our BUFT family as they embark on exciting new chapters in their academic and professional journeys. While it is difficult to see them leave, we are immensely proud of their achievements and the opportunities that lie ahead.

Ms. Anika Tahsin Odri

She will be pursuing higher studies at the University of Georgia, USA.

Mr. Tarequl Arefin
Lecturer, Department of Science, BUFT
He will be pursuing higher studies at the University of Texas at San Antonio, USA.

Ms. Sadia Taz Oyshi
Lab Instructor, Department of Environmental Science, BUFT
She will be joining icddr,b, one of the world’s leading international research organizations.
