The text provides background information on the National Institute of Preventive & Social Medicine (NIPSOM) in Bangladesh:
* NIPSOM was proposed in 1974 and established in 1978 as an Apex Institute of Public Health with the motto "Prevention is better than Cure."
* It gained international recognition and accreditation from institutions like the University of California (1978), Liverpool University (1982), and WHO/SEARO (1978).
* NIPSOM has been a member of various international public health organizations, including the International Association of School of Public Health Association (1990) and the Asia Pacific Consortium for Public Health (1990), and the South East Asian Public Health Education Institute Network (since 2004).
* The institute is recognized as a Center of Excellence for teaching, research, and training in public health.

উত্তরা মাইলস্টোন কলেজে মর্মান্তিক বিমান দুর্ঘটনায় আহতদের প্রতি গভীর সমবেদনা জ্ঞাপন করছি। এই অনাকাঙ্ক্ষিত ঘটনায় আপনাদের যে অপূরণীয় ক্ষতি হয়েছে, তা আমাদেরকেও ব্যথিত করেছে। আমরা জানি, এই মুহূর্তে আপনাদের উপর দিয়ে এক কঠিন সময় বয়ে যাচ্ছে। আহতদের দ্রুত আরোগ্য কামনা করি এবং যারা এই দুর্ঘটনায় শহীদ হয়েছেন, স্বজন হারিয়েছেন শোকসন্তপ্ত পরিবারের প্রতি রইল আমাদের গভীর সমবেদনা। মহান আল্লাহ আহতদের দ্রুত সুস্থতা দান করুন এবং শোকাহত পরিবারকে এই শোক সইবার শক্তি দিন। এই কামনা করি আমিন
