Capstone Project Defence Board – Intake 34

The Department of Textile Engineering at Bangladesh University of Business & Technology (BUBT) successfully conducted the Capstone Project Defence Board for the Regular and Diploma Holder Graduates of Intake 34. During the defence sessions, the students presented their capstone projects and demonstrated the technical knowledge, research capabilities, analytical skills, and practical understanding developed throughout their undergraduate studies.

The Department sincerely appreciates the students and faculty supervisors for their dedication and efforts in completing the projects. The Department also extends its heartfelt gratitude to the distinguished board members for their valuable time, constructive evaluation, and academic guidance.

🎉 Congratulations on the Publication of a Research Article by a Faculty Member of the Department of Textile Engineering

The Department of Textile Engineering, Bangladesh University of Business and Technology (BUBT), is pleased to announce the publication of a research article entitled:

“Development of latex film laminated woven jute fabric composite for potential packaging applications”

The article has been published in the Journal of Industrial Textiles (Q2), an international peer-reviewed journal focusing on advanced textile materials, textile technologies, and their innovative applications.

The research presents the development of a latex film-laminated woven jute fabric composite with potential applications in sustainable packaging. The study explores the integration of natural jute fabric with latex film to develop a value-added composite material, highlighting the potential of jute-based composites for environmentally responsible and functional packaging solutions.
