NSU Writing Center plans to offer a seven-week certificate course in " Writing for Professionals" in Fall 2026. The course is designed to help professionals understand and navigate the process of writing in an informed fashion to excel in written communication. When it comes to professional writing, there are some basics to learn and some habits to develop. Because writing, professional writing in particular, is a learned skill, the acquisition of that skill is amenable to instruction. The course will provide participants with opportunities to apply a range of effective writing strategies in practical engagements required of professionals across contexts. The course demystifies the magic and mysteries masking professional writing. Whoever joins, benefits!

Festival 2026 on 24 August 2026 (Monday) at the NSU Auditorium. During the event, North South University
and Hanseo University, South Korea, also signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen

ABOUT ICPS 2026

North South University (NSU), Dhaka, Bangladesh, is pleased to announce the 1st International Conference on Pharmaceutical Sciences (ICPS-2026), to be held from 10–12 October 2026 in Dhaka, Bangladesh. This landmark international event will serve as a global platform for academic researchers, industry professionals, clinicians, policymakers, and postgraduate scholars to exchange knowledge, share cutting-edge research findings, and explore emerging trends in pharmaceutical sciences.

ICPS-2026 is designed to foster interdisciplinary dialogue and international collaboration across a broad spectrum of pharmaceutical and biomedical disciplines, including drug discovery and development, pharmaceutical technology, clinical pharmacy, regulatory sciences, pharmacology, pharmacognosy, biotechnology, and translational research. The conference will feature keynote and plenary lectures by distinguished experts, invited talks, oral and poster presentations, panel discussions, and focused technical sessions.

Through ICPS-2026, NSU aims to promote high-quality research, strengthen academia–industry linkages, and encourage innovation that addresses regional and global healthcare challenges. North South University’s Department of Marketing, School of Business and Economics (SBE), organized an educational field trip to the Bangladesh Livestock Research Institute (BLRI) on August 20, 2026, as part of the Agricultural Marketing (MKT355) course. A total of 51 students participated in the field visit, which was led by the faculty member Dr. Mehe Z. Rahman.

🎉 Congratulations to NSU Alumnus Shamim Kaisar Lincoln!

Warm congratulations to Mohammad Shamim Kaisar Lincoln, a proud alumnus of North South University (NSU), on his appointment as the State Minister for Religious Affairs.

An NSU alumnus, he completed his BBA in 2003 and MBA in 2006 from North South University. He has now taken on an important responsibility in the Government of Bangladesh.

We wish him every success in his new role and hope his experience and leadership will contribute to the country and its people.
