After the liberation war of 1971, some learned persons of this island district Bhola felt the necessity of establishing a women college. Because it was backwarded in women education. There dream came to light in 1972 by establishing a non-government college named Fazilatunnesa Mohila College. The efforts of the citizen of Bhola and the gradual success of this colle

ge attract the attention of the higher authority. As a result, it was declared as a government college in 1984. At first it started its function in Bhola Govt. Girls’ High School. Then it was shifted at Rajanikanta’s Building of Sadar Road. It started its fullswing function in 1975 in this present campus attached to Gazipur Road. The administrative building was made in 1990 in the college campus. It is now a pride of the citizens of Bhola. It is one of the greatest educational institution of Barisal Division. It is now enriched with Science Building, Arts Building, Hostel, Library, a computer lab and a wide field. It goes with honours with seven subjects, masters with five subjects, B.A. (Pass) course, H.S.C.-Science & Humanities group. It is on the process to open Business Studies very soon. It is one of the ten best colleges of Barisal Division. It pays standard education to the women. It acts as a van guard to expand women education of this district
