Our Achievements:
Bhuiyan Academy has prepared more than 4000 successful UoL graduates among those there are current Justices of the Honourable Supreme Court of Bangladesh and different government officials. It has contributed a lot in the development of the social and legal structure of the country. It is the first institution in Bangladesh to get the permission of University of London to conduct Diploma in Law which is currently known as The Certificate of Higher Education in Common Law (Cert.HE ).

Day 3 - Dr. Jahid Hasan’s Visit to Bhuiyan Academy

Another engaging day with Dr. Jahid Hasan, Collaborative Partnership Leader (CPL), University of Hertfordshire SDL Programme.

The day featured the evaluation of students’ Reflective Log Competition submissions, followed by an Award Ceremony, where outstanding participants received gifts from the University of Hertfordshire. Dr. Hasan also conducted a drop-in session with students, providing an opportunity for one-to-one meeting.

The day concluded with a wonderful dinner hosted by Mr. Mazharul Hoque Bhuiyan and Mrs. Farhana Rahman, Directors of Bhuiyan Academy.

We are immensely proud to celebrate Dr. Rabia Bhuiyan, Principal of Bhuiyan Academy and Bangladesh’s first female Barrister, on being conferred the prestigious Honorary Doctor of Laws (LLD) by the University of Hertfordshire, UK in recognition of her remarkable contribution to legal education, the legal profession and women’s empowerment.

Having previously received an Honorary Doctor of Laws from the University of London, UK this latest honour is yet another distinguished recognition of her pioneering journey and lifelong dedication to inspiring generations of future lawyers.

During her ongoing visit to the UK, Dr. Rabia Bhuiyan, Principal of Bhuiyan Academy, had the pleasure of meeting key members of the School of Law at the University of Hertfordshire and visiting a Bar Training Course class.

A particularly special moment was when Professor Penny Carey, Dean of the Schools of Law and Education, presented Dr. Rabia Bhuiyan with a special book signed by the legendary Lady Hale.

We sincerely appreciate the warm welcome and hospitality extended to Dr. Rabia Bhuiyan and look forward to further strengthening the valued academic relationship between Bhuiyan Academy and the University of Hertfordshire.
