গণ বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়-আইন বিভাগ A University with a difference. The Gono University or Gono Biswobidyaloy is a private university in Savar, Bangladesh which was established on 14 July 1998.

This university is popular for its extraordinary non-smoking rule for students, teachers and staff. It was one of 11 universities that went operational without University Grants Commission (UGC) approval which was made a necessity under the Private University Act (1992). It also introduced new academic courses without UGC approval along with a number of other private universities. Degrees offered

পল্লবের ২টি কিডনি নষ্ট, প্রয়োজন ১৫ লাখ টাকা

সাভারের গণ বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের (গবি) আইন বিভাগের (দ্বিতীয় ব্যাচ) ২০০৯-১০ শিক্ষাবর্ষের সাবেক শিক্ষার্থী পল্লব কুমার সাহার দুটি কিডনিই নষ্ট হয়ে গেছে।

ডাক্তার অতিসত্বর তার কিডনি প্রতিস্থাপনের পরামর্শ দিয়েছেন। তবে কিডনি প্রতিস্থাপন করার মতো আর্থিক সচ্ছলতা নেই তার পরিবারের। এমতাবস্থায় সমাজের বিত্তবান ও দানশীল ব্যক্তিদের কাছে সাহায্যের হাত বাড়িয়েছে পল্লব এবং তার পরিবার। আপনার আর্থিক সাহায্য পেলে পল্লব ফিরে পেতে পারে নতুন জীবন।

পল্লব বর্তমানে রাজধানীর শ্যামলীর সিকেডি অ্যান্ড ইউরোলজি হাসপাতালে চিকিৎসা নিচ্ছেন। সেখানে সপ্তাহে দুবার তার ডায়ালাইসিস চলছে। তাকে বাঁচাতে গেলে কিডনি প্রতিস্থাপনের বিকল্প কোনো উপায় নেই। তার মা একটি কিডনি দান করতে সম্মত হয়েছেন। এখন কিডনি প্রতিস্থাপনের জন্য আনুমানিক ১৫ লাখ টাকার প্রয়োজন৷ যা তার নিম্নবিত্ত পরিবারের পক্ষে বহন করা অসম্ভব।

পল্লব জানান, কিডনি প্রতিস্থাপনজনিত এত ব্যয় আমার পরিবারের পক্ষে বহন করা সম্ভব নয়। তাই সমাজের বিত্তবান, বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের সহপাঠী, বড়ভাই, ছোটভাই ও শিক্ষকদের সহোযোগিতা কামনা করছি।
