The University of Information Technology and Sciences (UITS) Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) and Department of Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) are pleased to announce the participation of Three teams in the 8th World Invention Competition & Exhibition (WICE) 2026 on May 9, 2026. This national competition is a pivotal platform for young Bangladeshi innovators, serving as the selection ground for those who will represent the nation at the prestigious international WICE 2026 event in Malaysia, hosted by the Indonesia Young Scientist Association (IYSA). WICE is a globally recognized stage that brings together bright young minds to showcase groundbreaking ideas across science, technology, engineering, and social innovation. Bangladesh has a remarkable track record at WICE, having proudly secured Gold Medals in the past three years, demonstrating the immense talent and potential of our youth on the international stage. Last year, the nation was further honored with the Best Country Representative Award. UITS IQAC is thrilled announce the following seven teams and their innovative projects:

Project Title: AeroQuant: AI-Driven Climate-Adaptive Aeroponics for Sustainable Farming
The top teams emerging from this national round will earn the incredible opportunity to represent Bangladesh at the grand WICE 2026 event in Malaysia. WICE Bangladesh is dedicated to providing comprehensive guidance and support to all selected teams, ensuring they are fully prepared for the final competition. The WICE 2025 competition features both international and national segments, offering a wide array of categories for participants. The International Segments include IT & Robotics, Environmental Science, Innovative Social Science, Applied Physics & Engineering, and Applied Life Science. For the National Segments, participants can compete in the Wall Magazine and Olympiad categories. Within each category, participants are eligible for various awards, including Gold, Silver, and Bronze Medals, along with special recognitions such as the Best Country Representative (CR) Award, Best Project Award, DoB Special Award, TA Special Award, and a Participation Award.
