It is the centre of cultural activities of the university. Different cultural groups usually perform drama and cultural programs at Muktomacha. Shaptam Chayamancha is a great attraction for students at leisure period. TSC office is authorized to give permission any program in JU and one can book any room in TSC guest house, Auditorium, Cafeteria. In the TSC complex, there are an auditorium and a s
eminar hall to hold seminars, meetings and cultural programmes. The auditorium has an arrangement of 1500 seats, while the seminar hall accommodates 250 persons. Its a fully furnished auditorium for playing drama, cultural activities, International Conference and many more. Some times, some specialized festival like IT fair also be arranged here in the auditorium. Jahangirnagar University maintains a central cafeteria for all kind of usage. It is behind the monument called “Omor Ekushey”. There are always students in the cafeteria. The cafeteria offers the students and teachers a healthy and fresh meal in morning and lunch time in very low cost. There are 29 staffs and cookers helping to serve the food and maintaining the menus.
