Since commissioning in 1995, the institute is being managed and run by highly qualified and skilled faculty members, who take imparting of knowledge and skill more as a mission than profession. The first batch of this institution has already graduated in the year 2000. We are happy to announce that our 1st batch has secured three position amongst the top four in the combined merit list of Dhaka University. The high standard of teaching-learning methods have already attracted many students to this institution and the management takes special care to maintain the standard at any cost. The authorities are always striving for upgrading the teaching methods, and the year-round presence of visiting and honorary faculty members amply exemplifies the endeavour. Designed to enhance clinical expertise in modern endodontic practices, the workshop reflects the institution's dedication to continuous professional growth through regularly scheduled training sessions.

With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Mrs. Johora Begum, mother of Professor Dr. Abu Ahammad Shahidul Islam — Principal of University Dental College, Director (Finance), and Head of the Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. She was also the wife of Professor Dr. Md. Mosharraf Uddin Hasan, former Professor of Dhaka Dental College and former Trustee of DMCR Foundation. Mrs. Johora Begum was herself a Trustee of the DMCR Foundation.

She passed away on Wednesday, 6th August 2025, at 6:50 AM (Inna Lillahi wa Inna Ilaihi Raji'un).

We pray for the forgiveness of her soul and extend our heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family. May the Almighty grant her Jannatul Ferdous and give strength to the family to bear this loss. Ameen.

যারা ইউনিভার্সিটি ডেন্টাল কলেজে ভর্তি হতে চান তারা আবেদনের সময় অবশ্যই 1st choice এ ইউনিভার্সিটি ডেন্টাল কলেজ দিতে হবে। কলেজ কোড: ৩২৪। 1st choice এ না দিলে পরবর্তীতে ভর্তি হওয়া যাবে না।
