Our dear friend and batch-mate, *Abid Azad Siam*, from the *39th Batch of RCC*, is facing one of life’s toughest battles. At just *34 years old*, Abid has been diagnosed with *Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis*—a rare and life-threatening liver disease. Since 2023, he has undergone multiple procedures, fighting with quiet strength and unwavering hope. Doctors have now confirmed that *a liver transplant is the only curative option*.
*Here’s where things stand*:
• 💰 The estimated cost of the transplant is *around BDT 60 lakh*.
• 🏥 Over the past two years, Abid’s family has spent more than *BDT 20 lakh*, including consultations abroad—doing everything within their means to support his treatment.
• ❤️ His elder brother has stepped forward as *a voluntary liver donor*, a gesture of profound love and sacrifice.
Abid has been married since 2020. This should have been a time filled with laughter, family, and the joy of raising children—like many of us. Instead, he’s been fighting every moment against a disease that threatens his life.
