BME FEST 2.0 is going off with a bang with one last event- it's time to put your shooting skills to the test in an intra-BUET Valorant tournament!

With a registration fee of BDT 300 per team, you'll get a chance to win from a prizepool of 8000!

Champion: BDT 5000
Runner-up: BDT 3000

The deadline for registration is March 7th.

BME FEST 2.0 is going off with a bang with one last event- it's time to put your shooting skills to the test in an intra-BUET Valorant tournament!

The Thrill of the Close Call: Celebrating Everyone in the Med-Design Challenge!

The smoke has cleared, the dust has settled, and the champions of the Med-Design Challenge at BME Fest 2.0 have been crowned!

But hold on! Before we shower them with confetti (virtually, of course!), let's take a moment to acknowledge the incredible fight this year! This wasn't a cakewalk - the competition was fiercely tight, with the difference between victory and 4th place measured in mere decimal points!

The gap between our champion - Team 11:59 and 1st runner-up - Team Dentinels? A razor-thin 0.17.

1st and 2nd runner-up - Team “équipe esthétique”? Separated by just 1.16 points!

And just when you thought things couldn't get closer, 4th place trailed 2nd runner-up by a mere 0.67 points!

What does this mean for you, the amazing participants who didn't take home the top spots? It means you were neck-and-neck with the best! Your ideas, your dedication, your passion - they pushed the boundaries and made this one of the most thrilling competitions we've ever witnessed.

That's why we would like to Mention another award! MedDesign Challenge Healthcare Innovation Award and Rising Star Team Brailley for their innovative idea and outstanding performance in the competition. They will be granted a 70% scholarship on courses provided by Akaademy .

This close call shouldn't be a deflating moment, but a motivational spark! It shows you're right there, on the cusp of greatness. Keep refining your ideas, keep honing your skills, and remember: sometimes, the smallest adjustments can tip the scales in your favor!

To everyone who participated, thank you for being a part of this incredible journey! You've all contributed to making BME Fest 2.0 a truly unforgettable event. We can't wait to see what you achieve next! ✨

Congratulations to the teams on your abstract submission being selected for our BME Fest 2.0 Healthcare Case Competition. You are cordially invited to present your innovative solution in person on 22nd February at the ECE Building (BME Seminar Room, 10th Floor), BUET ( West Polashi Campus), Dhaka.

Guidelines for final round:

1. Presentation will be in English. The QnA can be in Bangla.
Presentation Time: 7 mins
QnA Time: 6 mins

2. All of the team members should participate in the presentation.

3. There are no limitations in the slide number,but maintain speech time.

4. We will start sharp at 2 PM. Please report at 1:30 PM.

5. Carry a pen drive so that you can directly connect with the monitor.

6. Carry 3 hardcopies of your presentation- this is not mandatory but recommended. Give slide numbers (It's a must)

7. This is a formal presentation, so we would request you to maintain formal attire.
