At present, there are 53 primary training institutes, 10 teachers' training colleges for secondary teachers, one training college for teachers in physical education, one technical teachers' training college and 15 private teachers' training colleges in Bangladesh. Some private universities now run B Ed programme for non-trained teachers. Among the colleges, Dhaka Teachers' Training College runs a four year Honours course. Institute of Education and Research (IER) of the university of dhaka has a four­ -year B Ed (Honours) programme, which had been conducted as a three-year one until 2001. দেশের অস্থিতিশীল পরিস্থিতির কারনে গত ০৩,০৫ ও আগামী ০৭,০৯ ডিসেম্বরের অনার্স ২য়, ৩য় ও ৪র্থ বর্ষের ১ম সাময়িক পরীক্ষা স্থগিত করা হয়েছে এবং দেশের পরিস্থিতি স্বাভাবিক হলে আগামী ১১ ডিসেম্বরের পরীক্ষাটি যথাসময়ে অনুষ্ঠিত হবে।

স্থগিত পরীক্ষাগুলোর পরিবর্তিত তারিখ পরবর্তিতে জানানো হবে।

কন্যাশিশু দিবসে সরকারী টিচার্স ট্রেনিং কলেজ, ঢাকা ক্যাম্পাসের সামনে মানববন্ধন!
আজ ৩০ সেপ্টেম্বর, জাতীয় কন্যাশিশু দিবস। এ বছর দিবসটির প্রতিপাদ্য নির্ধারিত হয়েছে, ‘কন্যা মানেই বোঝা নয়, করবে তারা বিশ্ব জয়’।
তাই এই দিবস উপলক্ষে রাজধানী সরকারি টিচার্স ট্রেনিং কলেজ নিজ প্রতিষ্ঠানের সামনে এক মানববন্ধন পালন করেছে। এতে কলেজের ছাত্র-ছাত্রী ও শিক্ষকরা অংশ নেয়।
