With deepest sorrow, this is to be informed that our respected senior Accountant , Mr. Imarat Hossain has breathed his last today at about 11: 45 AM.

I, on behalf of , Directors, City Dental College and Hospital, Governing body , City Dental College and Hospital, faculty members of the college, general staff/ officers and MLSSs, present students and former students, express our sincerest sorrow and grief and condolences. May Allah swt bestow upon his departed soul all the mercy and grant him a place in Jannatul Ferdous.

May He give strength to his family members to bear this irreplaceable loss.

আসসালামু আলাইকুম।

আজ ভোর ৬টায় রাজধানীর এভারকেয়ার হাসপাতালে চিকিৎসাধীন অবস্থায় বিএনপি চেয়ার পার্সন মাননীয় সাবেক প্রধানমন্ত্রী বেগম খালেদা জিয়ার মৃত্যু হয়। মৃত্যুকালে তার বয়স হয়েছিল ৮০ বছর।

এতদ্বার জানানো যাচ্ছে যে, মাননীয় সাবেক প্রধানমন্ত্রী বেগম খালেদা জিয়ার প্রতি সর্বোচ্চ সম্মান ও মর্যাদা প্রদর্শনের লক্ষ্যে তাঁর মৃত্যুতে ঢাকা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় ৩ দিনের শোক ঘোষণা করায় আজ মঙ্গলবার (30 December 2025) অপরাহ্ণের এবং বুধবার (31 December 2025) ও বৃহস্পতিবার (01 January 2026) এই ৩ দিনের ঢাকা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের অভ্যন্তরীণ ও অধিভুক্ত/উপাদানকল্প কলেজ/ইনস্টিটিউট কেন্দ্রের সকল পরীক্ষা স্থগিত থাকবে। স্থগিতকৃত পরীক্ষাসমূহের নতুন সময়সূচি যথাসময়ে ঘোষণা করা হবে।

At 6:00 a.m. today, BNP Chairperson, the Former Honorable Prime minister Begum Khaleda Zia, passed away while undergoing treatment at Evercare Hospital in the capital. She was 80 years old at the time of her death.

We pray to Almighty Allah for the forgiveness of her departed soul and extend our deepest condolences to her bereaved family.

For the information of all students and concerned parties, by order, it is hereby notified that in order to pay the highest respect and honor to former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia, and as Dhaka University has declared three days of mourning following her death, all examinations of Dhaka University’s internal and affiliated/constituent colleges and institutes will remain suspended for three days: this Tuesday (30 December 2025) afternoon, and Wednesday (31 December 2025) and Thursday (01 January 2026).
The revised schedule for the postponed examinations will be announced in due course.
