CHANGE:Committed 2 Humanitarian Alternative for Nature & Green Environment. Supported by individuals like you, we strive to make a lasting impact in environmental conservation.

CHANGE is a non-governmental, non-profit organization dedicated to harnessing the collective power and awareness of primarily the younger generation in defending the environment and fostering social development. Affiliated with the Center for Biological Diversity, we firmly believe that human well-being is intrinsically linked to the natural world. Our primary objectives include environmental prot

ection and conservation. We rely solely on voluntary donations from individual supporters and grants from foundations. We neither solicit nor accept financial contributions from governments, corporations, political parties, or multinational governmental bodies, making us a truly independent organization that engages with people from all walks of life. CHANGE was conceived by students from the 12th batch of the Department of Environmental Sciences at Jahangirnagar University. The organization was officially established on March 23, 2011. Our acronym stands for 'Committed to Humanitarian Alternatives for Nature and a Green Environment.' Our inaugural initiative focused on raising awareness about the massive disaster in Japan, honoring the victims, and instilling a sense of environmental responsibility among the public. This endeavor served as our first stepping stone in our journey toward environmental stewardship. As stewards of the Earth, we are committed to combating environmental degradation. Inspired by a humanitarian ethos, we have taken it upon ourselves to improve the state of our surrounding environment. In a world where poverty is reaching alarming levels, we recognize the threats we've posed to our surroundings. Empowered by our collective will, youthful energy, awareness, and sense of humanity, we are determined to CHANGE for the betterment of our Earth!
