Dhaka city has been enriched with a number of renowned educational institutions.

Among these great academic institutions, Bangladesh Navy College Dhaka is one. This college is situated at the naval restricted area in Mirpur–14 adjacent to Dhaka Cantonment. Any one is fascinated at its neatness, decorative beauty and above all, natural surroundings. This college started its journey as Fahmida Cantt. School on 21 February 1978. It was converted into BN School Dhaka in 1982. On t

he other hand, BN College Dhaka came into being in July 1996 as a separate institution. As per directives of Naval Headquarters, BN College and School were combined to be regarded as a single educational institution in October 1998 and named as BN College Dhaka. The College authority has always been keen to keep all kinds of developing activities continued. With the flow of development, the college has been constructed as a three-storied building and the facilities of laboratory rooms, students´ common rooms and the library room have been increased. The college was started with two groups such as Science and Arts. At present, it has got three groups including Commerce. The Principal, Lecturers, Assistant Professors, Teachers and Officials as well as fourth class employees- all are dedicated to improve the standard of education of this institution in all respects. Infrastructural Set-up

The institution has got two wings which are the college and school sections. The college area is not so big. It has got a small but a nice attractive campus. The college building had two floors with the financial assistance of Naval Headquarters. Afterwards, the Facilities Department of the Ministry of Education constructed 04 class-rooms with a bathroom block over the existing first floor. The construction of the remaining 03 class-rooms and stair-case has also been constructed with the college fund. On the completion of the construction, the college building has now the following facilities:

সুপ্রিয় ছাত্রছাত্রী, সম্মানিত অভিভাবক এবং সকল শুভানুধ্যায়ীদের অত্যন্ত আনন্দের সাথে জানাচ্ছি যে বি এন কলেজ ঢাকা ২০১৩-১৪ সালে ভর্তিকৃত শিক্ষার্থীদের জি পি এ ৫ এর সংখ্যা এবং ২০১৫ সালের এইচ এস সি ফলাফল মোতাবেক প্রাপ্ত জি পি এ ৫ এর সংখ্যার ভিত্তিতে ঢাকা মহানগরের সেরা দশটি কলেজের মধ্যে পঞ্চম স্থান অধিকার করেছে। কয়েকটি মানদন্ডে এ অবস্থান অর্জন করেছে বি এন কলেজ ঢাকা
১। এস এস সি তে কম জি পি এ প্রাপ্ত শিক্ষার্থীরা এখান থেকে এইচ এস সি তে বেশি জি পি এ পাচ্ছে।
২। জি পি এ প্রাপ্ত শিক্ষার্থীরা এখানে এসে তাদের ফলাফল অক্ষুণ্ন রাখতে সক্ষম হচ্ছে।
৩। এখানে ফলাফলের পরিমাণগত মানোন্নয়নের চাইতে গুণগত মানোন্নয়নের উপর বেশি জোর দেয়া হচ্ছে।
বি এন কলেজ ঢাকা ২০১৫ সালে উত্তীর্ণ সকল শিক্ষার্থীকে অভিনন্দন জানাচ্ছে এবং তাদের উজ্জ্বল ভবিষ্যত কামনা করছে। তারা যেভাবে বি এন কলেজ ঢাকার মুখ উজ্জ্বল করেছে, একই ভাবে দেশের মুখ উজ্জ্বল করবে, সে প্রত্যাশা রইলো।

বি এন কলেজ ঢাকা আয়োজিতো বিজয় দিবস আন্ত-শাখা ক্রিকেট টুর্নামেন্ট থেকে যেসকল কর্িকেটার দের বি এন কলেজ মূল ক্রীকেট টিম এর জন্য বাছাই করা হয়েছে, সকল কে খুব জলদি বি এন কলেজ ক্রীকেট টিম এর ক্যাপ্টেন চৌধুরী মো: নওসিফ (8514-D) এর সাথে দেখা করার জন্য অনুরোধ করা হচ্ছে..smile emoticon
