The University Grants Commission (UGC) evaluated and approved the academic programs on July 30, 2003, and the fina

l approval of the Ministry of Education was accorded on August 30, 2003. It started functioning from Spring Semester – 2004. Dr. Momtaz Begum is the founder Chairperson of Royal University of Dhaka.
