Kabi Nazrul College is one of the most renowned and oldest educational institutions of Bangladesh. College is a public school in Laxmi Bazar, Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh. The school offers education for students ranging from eleventh grade to eighteenth grade (approximately ages 16 to 24). With over 2,200 students, 500 of which reside in its dormitories, KNGC is one of the largest colleges in
the Dhaka city. College is noted for its academic performance and extracurricular activities, having produced many notable alumni including leaders in business, the military and state and national politics as well as senior government officers, scientists and engineers. The Government of Bangladesh recognized the school for its strong performance in the Higher Secondary Certificate examination in 2001. Besides, this college has played a very significant role in the historic language movement and the liberation war of Bangladesh. Specially the existing set of brilliant and experienced teachers of this college have demonstrated exceptional examples in conducting co-curriculum activities including class-room teaching with a view to create scientific minded,knowledgeable global citizens in order to face the challenge of the twenty-first century.
