"4 years have passed since 25th
February. I was waiting for abbu
to pick our call, to hear “baba
ami thik asi, tomra chinta koro
na”. 2 days passed and I kept
waiting. On the 27th of February-
when a few escaped officers were
coming out of BDR- I tried my
level best to see if the face was
that of abbu…but never again did
I see my abbu’s face.
The same is true for the families
of 56 other personnel of
Bangladesh Army.
What we saw instead of their
smiling, reassuring faces of these
brave men…was disfigured, burnt
and molten bodies of our fathers
who had served the country till
their final breath. I fondly
remember “abbu” as the best
father in the world though my
time with him was short- he was
mostly busy with doing his duty
for the country.
They were the best fathers to us,
best husbands to their wives,
best sons to their parents and
the best officers to the
motherland...then why this? Why
did they witness 25th February?
Why were the youngest of
officers (some of them only
newly married) brutally killed?
Why was the man who brought
down BANGLA BHAI on his own
hands get brutally killed? Why
were doctors brutally killed? Why
were all the brave officers
brutally killed?
We don't know the answers yet,
but now its high time we raise
our voices....that's all I want from
all my friends, my well-wishers,
and all those people who want
justice of 25th February on that
attempt, we are planning to put
up a status on this page, and
would ask EVERYONE to please
put this status on your accounts,
and ask your friends to put the
same status for tomorrow, 25th
February 2013. If 100 of Facebook
users put up this status, we are
sure it will reach the
government...100 of users, one
status, sure it means unity,
WE WANT ANSWERS"
