The BRAC University Photography Club, also known as BUPC is a student run organization, located at the BRAC University premises, Mohakhali, Dhaka, dedicated to photography. Founded in 2001, the club has devoted itself into bringing together any and all BRACU students interested in the ‘kinks’ of photography through means including but not limited to workshops conducted by experienced internals and

externals, intra-university and inter photography competitions and exhibitions, numerous intra-city and intra-country photography tours, photo-walks, and above all, through spreading the love of photography among fellow members and non-members. Needless to say, over the years, the club has produced some excellent photographers—many of whom have had the talent and the good fortune to have exhibited their works both nationally and internationally, while simultaneously having received accolades in various competitions worldwide. However, it must also be mentioned at this point, that the credit for pulling out talents here, does not go to the honing process that involves trades and techniques of photography or training the eye alone, because here at BUPC, we do NOT believe in clichés of how great photography comes from following the so-called golden rules or having a good eye. Rather, BUPC plays home to some of the most out-of-the-box ‘thinkers’ and ‘interpreters’ who believe in the beauty of bringing ‘something’ out of ‘everything’. We house one of the largest “covens” of conceptual artists (!) existent in the undergraduate level photography society. Thus, it is safe to say that all of our achievements are a result of nurturing everyone’s individual interests—be it different styles of photography, photo-art, playing curator to exhibitions, exploring the technical aspects of photography, etc—instead of binding them to a certain prototyped mould. Our main concern has always been, and will always be to prioritize the individual needs of each and every photographer and photo-admirer that sets foot under our roof. Hence, simply put, our priority at the BRAC University Photography Club is to celebrate photography in any and every possible way. So if you’re a part of it, congratulations, you have made an excellent choice in partaking into making great things happen! And if you’re not, but you’re an impassioned photographer or a photo-lover nonetheless, and a member of the BRACU family, you’re most welcome to join us! AND if you’re none of the above, but are interested in our activities and what we can offer you and the Bangladeshi photo-society, you can ‘like’ us here on Facebook and be involved in our quest for rejoicing photography! On behalf of a student of BRACU, I would like to knock on your hearts to help a friend Name: Mahmud Hasan Sabit, ID :13101065, Dept: CSE, to continue treatment of his father who got brain stroke four days ago. His father is still unconscious and currently admitted in a hospital of Riyadh(Lead to a brain hemorrhage). Though a great deal of money is needed but if we all come forward together for help it will no longer be tough for him to continue his father’s treatment. Let’s just be a little kind and turn on our humanity. If you cannot help, just do one thing. Share the post. May be there is someone around you who could help a bit.

Mainly playing as a forward. But trust me, he can play at any position you want him to play. As a forward he is a perfectly honed hunter, stalking the pitch looking for chances to pounce. Kowshik is the the DM of Summer 12 and Home player of BUPC football team. His dedication and love for BUPC team is unbeatable. The DM and president of BUPC is playing as a Center back for the greater good. A true example of leader ship. He is the spine of the defense line and so far has shown us that he is as good on the field as he is on the camera.

He doesn't talk, he plays!!! My oh my he plays!!! From top corner to bottom, from left to right. To cheap it in or cannon it in, he has it all. The most calm finisher BRACU has seen in a while is back from injury and is at it again. You feed him he will finish it. NO QUESTIONS ASKED!!!

He was another major pick this season by BUPC. Undoubtedly, a silent killer with refined techniques and the ability to use it at pace once he gathers speed on the run which makes him a marvel. Deadly striker for a reason.

Just try and try to break him. After the break from semester tournament, he is back. And back with a full swing. He holds down the squad from up to bottom. With steel nerves, he has the ability to go and put it where it belongs and on counter, he will steal the ball, without you even seeing him coming. He is the one most dedicated player.

Just under estimate him and he will scar you for sure. With his Cheeta like physic he can run through almost any one. You name it, he has the speed and agility to throw him down. This speed star will leave mark every time he is on the pitch.
