One year & 20 days ago, we made a promise. Today, we kept it.

Last year, after falling short in the final, our captain wrote:
“We will come back stronger and become champions in the next tournament.”

And this year, We became champions in the Institute of Health Economics' Inter-batch Football Tournament, beating the two-time defending champions in the final.

Special shoutout to Rifat for his two final goals, Atik for his crucial goal despite not being fully fit, and Yeasin for his third consecutive Best Goalkeeper award.

From a promise to a trophy. IHE 14, Champions!

A very happy birthday to the person who made our first Economics lessons ones to remember, our Director, Shimul Sir! 🎉

From teaching us our very first lessons in Economics to leading our institute, you’ve been a memorable part of our journey at IHE. You introduced us to demand and supply and little did we know that we’d spend the next few years trying to keep our own demand for sleep and supply of assignments in equilibrium! 😂📚

Thank you, Sir, for making our first steps into Economics less intimidating and much more memorable. Wishing you good health, happiness and a wonderful year ahead✨️

Happy Birthday, Shimul Sir! 🥳

Waheed Chowdhury (Lecturer,IHE,DU), one of our most admired mentors and academic icons, has been honoured with the Director’s Award (BSS 2021 & MSS 2022) and the "Excellence in Teaching Award 2025", presented by the Institute of Health Economics.
Three prestigious recognitions in a single ceremony speak louder than words ever could.

From us receiving his motivational orientation video all the way from Canada, to becoming one of his very first batches at IHE and now witnessing him achieve such remarkable milestones in this short time
We feel truly privileged to have witnessed this journey unfold from the very beginning.

Congratulations Sir✨

Congrats to Sleepyheads for securing Second Runners-Up at Seeds of Growth arranged by East West University Economics Club!🎉🎊

Making slides till four in the morning was worth it. Running on nerves, caffeine, and almost zero sleep before the final round, these three still walked in and pulled it off💅🏻

Sleepy? Yes. Worth it? Also yes!

So proud of you guys!🫶🏻
