Recruitment of New Members- IMechE BUET Student Chapter.

Please follow the steps mentioned below to become a member of IMechE BUET Student Chapter.

Step 1: Visit IMechE website and apply for student affiliate membership.
https://www.imeche.org/membership-registration/become-a-member/affiliate-member/student-affiliate

Use the "Other" option for university name and type in "Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology" manually. It is not necessary for the applicants to be in the department of Mechanical Engineering. Students from any department of Engineering are welcome here. After all, cross-disciplinary actions between different branch of engineering are most needed in today's world of innovations.
(If you are already a student affiliate member of ImechE, please skip step 1 and 2 and go to step 3.)

Step2: It would take a few weeks to get your membership ID, so till then please check your email ( That has been used in IMechE application) inbox regularly. Please note down this membership ID. This will be needed in any future ImechE events.

Step 3: After getting membership ID, please fill up this form

Regional success in just one year!

The Champion's luck of Speak Out for Engineering (SOFE) Southern Asia Region (SAR) Heat 2021 has been crowned to IMechE BUET Student Chapter, by our very own Rafia Rizwana Rahim (Chair, IMechE BUET SC) who has been declared the Champion of SOFE SAR 2021. She will be representing the Southern Asia Region along with Tawsif Zaman of IUT, accompanied by IMechE SAR Chairperson and Young Member Chair at SOFE Global 2021, taking place this September in London.

Finally, our BUET team "𝐀𝐮𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐨" is on the Provisional List of 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗺𝘂𝗹𝗮 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗨𝗞 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟮! They will be the first ones to participate in FSUK from BUET. We are really proud ❤

We are thrilled to announce that Automaestro has successfully qualified as a 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺 in 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗺𝘂𝗹𝗮 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗨𝗞 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟮!

It is also a pleasure to be among the five Bangladeshi teams to have made it on the list, we are very much looking forward to meet the familiar faces in the competition!

Congratulations to our Rafia Rizwana Rahim on securing first place at the SOfE Bangladesh Finals 2021. She will be representing Bangladesh at the SOfE Regional Finals along with Tawsif Zaman and Monisha Basak.

SOFE Bangladesh Finals 2021 participants are winners of the Intra-campus round from IUT, KUET, IUBAT, BUET, and MIST. Our top three winners from SOFE Intra BUET 2021 are going to represent our university.
