The students of Batch 42nd of Department of Law, Manarat International University (MIU) successfully conducted a Court Visit on 4th November 2025. This was led by Ms. Sumaiya Islam, esteemed faculty member of the Department of Law, and was part of MIU’s continuous initiative to provide students with real-world exposure to Bangladesh’s judicial system.

As part of the visit, students attended sessions at the Environment Court, Dhaka, where they observed live proceedings and gained practical insights into environmental justice, the enforcement of environmental laws, and the functioning of specialized courts in ensuring environmental protection.

In addition to the Environment Court, the students also visited and observed trials at the Land Survey Tribunal, the Artha Rin Adalat (Money Loan Court), and the Speedy Trial Tribunal-2, Dhaka. Through these visits, students gained a comprehensive understanding of the diverse nature of judicial proceedings in Bangladesh, covering environmental, land, financial, and speedy trial cases.

Throughout the visit, Ms. Sumaiya Islam provided valuable guidance and explanations, helping students connect theoretical legal concepts with real courtroom experiences.

The students of Batch 42nd express their sincere appreciation and gratitude to Mr. Abdullah Hil Gani, Head of the Department, for his continuous guidance, encouragement, and support in making this academic visit a success. His leadership and commitment to experiential legal education have been instrumental in shaping such enriching learning opportunities for MIU law students.

This initiative underscores MIU’s dedication to fostering a comprehensive legal education that blends classroom learning with practical judicial experience, preparing students to become skilled and socially responsible legal professionals.
