Anika Tabassum Adrita, Alumni of the Department of Software Engineering, Daffodil International University, has received international recognition at the ๐Ÿ‘๐ซ๐ ๐‡๐ฎ๐ฆ๐š๐ง ๐‡๐š๐ซ๐ฆ๐จ๐ง๐ฒ ๐€๐ฐ๐š๐ซ๐ in Nepal, presented through a United Nationsโ€“led platform, for her outstanding contribution to healthcare innovation.

Her project MedOS (AI-powered Healthcare Operating System) uses artificial intelligence and blockchain to digitize handwritten prescriptions, ensure secure medical data management, and create lifelong digital health profiles. This innovative solution aims to improve accuracy, efficiency, and patient safety in healthcare systems.

Selected from 20+ international categories, this achievement highlights the global impact of Bangladeshi youth innovation and aligns strongly with the UN Sustainable Development Goals for health, technology, and inclusion.

The Department of Nutrition and Food Engineering (NFE), Daffodil International University, proudly observed National Food Safety Day on 2 February 2026, emphasizing the importance of food safety in ensuring public health and sustainable living under the theme:
โ€œEnsure Safe Food, Build a Healthy Life.โ€
The program was honored by the gracious presence of the Honorable Pro Vice Chancellor of Daffodil International University, whose valuable speech highlighted the critical role of food safety education, research, and professional responsibility in building a healthier nation.
The event was further enriched by the presence of the Head of the Department of Nutrition and Food Engineering, the Dean, Faculty of Health and Life Sciences (FHLS), and the Director, Innovation and Incubation Center (IIC).
