🌿 National Food Safety Day 2026 Observed at Daffodil International University 🌿
The Department of Nutrition and Food Engineering (NFE), Daffodil International University, proudly observed National Food Safety Day on 2 February 2026, emphasizing the importance of food safety in ensuring public health and sustainable living under the theme:
“Ensure Safe Food, Build a Healthy Life.”
The program was honored by the gracious presence of the Honorable Pro Vice Chancellor of Daffodil International University, whose valuable speech highlighted the critical role of food safety education, research, and professional responsibility in building a healthier nation.
The event was further enriched by the presence of the Head of the Department of Nutrition and Food Engineering, the Dean, Faculty of Health and Life Sciences (FHLS), and the Director, Innovation and Incubation Center (IIC). Their insightful remarks inspired students and faculty members to uphold food safety standards in academic, professional, and everyday practices.
Faculty members, students, and officials actively participated in the program, making it a meaningful platform for awareness, discussion, and commitment toward safe food handling, quality assurance, and public health protection.
