Shaheen College, Kurmitola was established in 1972.This is a very big and famous school in Dhaka.Every year it's make a brilliant success in SSC,HSC,Junior Scholarship, Primary Scholarship.IN 2006 it stde 4th place in Dhaka(SSC). and it was named "AIR-FORCE'S SCHOOL" After 1980 it's
was named BAF. Shaheen School kurmitola.and it was only school section. After 1982 its added the college branch and

named BAF. History :
Before the Liberation war , Established in 1960 as P A F ( Pakistan Air Force ) Shaheen school , by Pakistan Air Force to accommodate the children of Airmen. It was part of a project where four Shaheen Schools were founded alongside the four airbases of the Air Force in Bangladesh ( East Pakistan).At first it was a tin shed bulding in PSI Cantin. The other three Shaheens are:
P A F Shaheen College Kurmitolla,
P A F Shaheen College Jessore ,
P A F Shaheen College Chittagong, and
P A F Shaheen College Karachi at Karachi. Currently there are five Shaheens operated by Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) :

B A F Shaheen College Dhaka, Tejgaon, Dhaka
B A F Shaheen College Kurmitolla, Dhaka
B A F Shaheen College Chittagong, Chittagong
B A F Shaheen College Jessore, Jessore
B A F Shaheen College P.K.P

About 4275 Student study there, In 72 sections. Shaheen College Kurmitola is a Bangla midiam School and college. in three group. they are :
Science Group. business Study Group &
Arts Group . It has a big Library,debating club,Girls Guide,Quiz Club, B.N.C.C. unit. Principle : WIN. COMM. Moin Uddin Pathan. Vice principle : MD. Shamsul Haqe. College Adjutant : Flt. lef. A K Sultan Ahmed (Ret.)
