Stamford Life Science Club - SLSC Official platform of the Life Science Club, Stamford University. Promoting scientific curiosity, research, and collaboration in the biological sciences.

Stamford Life Science Club (SLSC) is a club under Stamford University Bangladesh, which aims to enhance the interest of university students in the field of life sciences, through networking and science related programs. With the mentorship and guidance of club supervision, students will arrange seminars to build public awareness which also stimulate the interest in science. We also organize different scientific program or game show in different school and collage around the Dhaka city to maintain school aspirations to promote quality education. Along with these we will provide opportunity for leadership training among all the members.

🎬 We are delighted to share β€œEvery Drop Has a Story”, a scientific awareness video created by Seyam Khondoker, a student of the Department of Microbiology, Stamford University Bangladesh, as part of the BSM Golden Jubilee Reel Competition 2026, organized by the Bangladesh Society of Microbiologists (BSM).

The water we drink and the food we eat may look perfectly safe, but an invisible microbial world exists beyond what our eyes can see. From microbial contamination and coliforms to water quality and food safety, microbiology helps reveal the hidden factors that can affect our daily lives, health, and environment.

πŸ”¬ Through laboratory-based water quality analysis, this work highlights the importance of understanding microbial contamination, maintaining hygiene, and promoting greater awareness of food- and water-borne health risks.
