The Department of Business Administration, Green University of Bangladesh, organized a workshop titled “Integrating IQAC Compliance into the Department of Business Administration through Academic Planning, Documentation, and Evidence Management” on 12 August 2026 at G-106. The workshop was organized by the Program Self-Assessment Committee (PSAC), Department of Business Administration, with the objective of strengthening institutional practices related to semester-wise IQAC compliance, academic documentation, evidence management, and Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI).

The session was graced by Prof. Dr. Mohammed Tareque Aziz, Dean, Green Business School, as Chief Guest, and Dr. Mohammad Delwar Hussain, Chairperson, Department of Business Administration, as Special Guest. Ms. Showkat Ara Khanam, Assistant Professor, Department of Business Administration, served as Facilitator, while Ms. Nusrat Jahan, Assistant Professor, Department of Business Administration, served as Co-Facilitator.

The workshop was designed to provide department and faculty members with a structured understanding of the semester-wise compliance requirements associated with academic planning and implementation. It emphasized the systematic preparation, preservation, and management of documentary evidence generated through routine academic activities. The workshop also highlighted the importance of linking academic practices with IQAC review, audit, feedback, and CQI processes, thereby promoting a systematic and sustainable approach to quality assurance.

A major focus of the workshop was the Semester Compliance Cycle, which encompasses four key phases: Pre-Semester Readiness, Teaching Block 1, Teaching Block 2, and Post-Semester Review. The discussions covered important compliance activities, including preparation of the approved academic calendar, website updates, curriculum review, alumni and industry feedback, course-file submission and audit, identification and counseling of at-risk students, tutorial activities, assessment moderation, student course evaluation, teacher self-evaluation, SWOT analysis, and CQI meetings. The session further emphasized that effective compliance requires a continuous and organized institutional practice rather than a periodic documentation exercise. Participants were encouraged to follow a structured routine of knowing the academic calendar, completing the required activities, capturing relevant evidence, filing and tracking documentation, reviewing compliance gaps, and implementing necessary improvements.

The workshop concluded by emphasizing the integration of quality assurance and CQI into regular academic practices to foster systematic documentation, accountability, and continuous improvement within the department.
