The Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Southeast University, is pleased to celebrate the publication of a research article by our faculty member Khondaker Mohammad Mohi Uddin, Assistant Professor, together with our students Md. Zubayer Ahmad Shibly and Inamul Haque Inam, in the Elsevier journal Measurement: Digitalization.

๐Ÿ“Œ Title: AIDPCP: An Adaptive Intelligent Data Preprocessing and Clustering Pipeline for Obesity Prediction with Explainable AI
The study introduces an adaptive, distribution-aware machine learning framework for obesity prediction, addressing critical challenges including mixed feature types, class imbalance, data leakage, limited external validation, and model interpretability.

This publication reflects the departmentโ€™s commitment to facultyโ€“student research collaboration, innovation, and high-quality scholarly contributions in emerging areas of artificial intelligence and data science.

The IEEE Computer Society SEU Student Branch Chapter has been recognized as the Most Promising Computer Society Student Chapter of Bangladesh. This prestigious recognition reflects the dedication, consistency, and excellence demonstrated by the chapter since its inception in 2025.

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Southeast University, takes immense pride in this accomplishment. The chapter has played a significant role in fostering a strong culture of professionalism, leadership, and technical engagement among students and faculty members, bringing honor to both the department and the university.
