At present Bangladeshi Junior Academy of Science (BJAS) is a online platform and working as a umbrella for science students and teacher of High School/college, will start field level activity soon. Each Upazilla’s Academy of High Sc
hool Science ( which will be the root level local platform of BJAS) nominates high school students as BJAS delegates. The BJAS mission is to introduce, encourage, and accelerate High school/college students into the professional world of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics and biotechnology and so on. Each Upazilla's Academy of Science/ High School/ College head determines the guidelines by which their BJAS delegates are chosen. In many cases, the Academy of Science organizes a Junior Academy of Science. Under the direction of the Junior Academy, a District wide scientific research competition will be held. The winners of these competitions are nominated to represent their District at the BJAS conference. Interested students and mentors should contact their Upazilla Academy of Science for information on how to get involved. BJAS meets annually in conjunction with the Bangladesh Academy of Science’s (BAS), National Institute of Biotechnology (NIB), Atomic energy commission etc's annual meeting. BAS is the largest scientific organization of Bangladesh and the publisher of Science. We also have plan to collaborate with International body like AAAS, NSFC etc who serves as an authoritative source for information on the latest developments in science and bridges gaps among scientists, policy-makers and the public to advance science and science education. During the conference, BJAS delegates tour local institutions of scientific importance, share their research with their peers and with other scientists, attend conference sessions.
