We are back with our “Where Are Our Graduates Now?” series to share the journey of ChE’19, who graduated in April 2025.
It is remarkable that, within six months after graduation, most graduates have demonstrated ambition, determination, and a drive to excel as they move out of BUET, exemplified by their batch name, 'Robust '19.
Notably, 13.2% of the graduates are pursuing PhD studies in top schools in the USA. They managed to secure early admission in Fall '25, while still in their final year, despite the ongoing funding crisis.
The other 9.4% joined as lecturers at BUET, BUTEX, and DUET immediately after graduation, which is absolutely praiseworthy, as only the top of the class receives this opportunity. The other 24.5% secured their positions in various industries, including Bashundhara Group, JTI, Forbes Marshal, Incepta Pharmaceuticals, and Syngenta, among many others.
This is just the beginning of their career, and they have already achieved a great deal. DChE has no doubt about their caliber, that they will bring pride and carry our legacy with them
