AIUB Computer Engineering - CoE Computer Engineering (CoE) offers major in Biomedical Engineering, Communication Engineering, Electronics, IC Design & Embedded System.

Since its inception in 1994, AIUB has been at the forefront in Computing by producing technically skilled and competent IT Professionals to meet the needs of the local and international market. The department has experienced significant growth over the last few years, and is now home of 25 full time faculty, with strong groups in theory, systems, graphics, media, programming languages, computation

al science, security, AI, and robotics.

A Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering focuses on the relationship between computer hardware and software systems. Graduates should be prepared to evaluate systems and design efficient solutions to problems. A bachelor of science degree in computer engineering typically combines software-related classes in networks, operating systems, programming languages and data structures with hardware-related courses covering microcomputer systems, memory components, microprocessors, fiber optics and integrated circuits. The program meshes formal coursework with practical experience, preparing graduates for a diversity of career options or an advanced degree
