The Faculty of Humanities and Law, National University, Bangladesh is delighted to launch "A Series on Legal Writing"—a learning initiative aimed at strengthening practical legal writing skills through a series of focused sessions on diverse forms of legal writing.

We are excited to begin this journey with our inaugural session, "Mastering Legal Newspaper Article Writing." This interactive session will introduce participants to the fundamentals of newspaper article writing on legal & policy related issues , including its structure, research strategies, writing techniques, and practical approaches to producing compelling and impactful articles.

The session will be conducted by Ms. Suriya Tarannum Susan (LL.B, LL.M), Department of Law, University of Chittagong, an accomplished researcher with extensive experience in newspaper article writing, moot court memorial drafting, and legal debating.

BIJA successfully conducted Batch 2 & 3 of its training session titled “Digital Justice System, Rights, and Cyber Safety” under the theme “Education, Awareness, and Information-Know Your Rights. Understand the Process. Empower Yourself.” The training aimed to enhance participants’ understanding of digital justice mechanisms, legal rights, and cyber safety in Bangladesh.

In the both session, our students from 1st & 2nd batch joined the session successfully and performed well........

The session commenced with opening remarks by Jeba Mobashwira, Executive Director, who welcomed the participants and facilitated an interactive discussion to assess their existing knowledge of digital justice, cyber protection, and legal rights through engaging True/False questions. She also provided an overview of the training and introduced the key digital justice services to be covered.

Besides the students of National University, Bangladesh there were many others students from other institutes.

The Department of Law, National University, Bangladesh, is pleased to announce that our 09 students participated in "Energy Talk 4: Transition Reality in Bangladesh," held on 4 July 2026 at the Liberation War Museum, Agargaon, Dhaka.The seminar centered on Bangladesh's contemporary energy landscape, the prospects of renewable energy, and the significance of ensuring a Just Energy Transition. The programme brought together distinguished energy experts,researchers, policymakers, climate advocates, and representatives from various national and international organizations, offering an enriching platform for intellectual discourse, interdisciplinary learning, and professional engagement.

The presentations delivered by the three keynote speakers were highly insightful, engaging, and thought-provoking. They shared valuable perspectives on Bangladesh's energy transition, renewable energy, and sustainable development, making the discussions both informative and inspiring. Overall, the session was highly enjoyable and provided an excellent learning experience for all participants.Through their participation, the students had the opportunity to gain valuable insights into the challenges and opportunities of Bangladesh's energy transition while engaging with experts and stakeholders working in the fields of energy, climate policy, and sustainable development. Such exposure contributes significantly to broadening students' academic perspectives and fostering informed engagement with issues of national and global importance.

The Department of Law highly appreciates the enthusiasm and commitment demonstrated by the participating students in representing the Department at this prestigious academic event.
The Department also extends its sincere appreciation to Sumaia Emu Ma'mm and

The Viva-Voce Examination of the First Year, Second Semester students (Session: 2023–2024) of the Department of Law, National University, Bangladesh was successfully conducted on 30 June 2026 (Tuesday) at 10:00 AM in the Academic Building, National University, Bangladesh.
