We are deeply saddened to share that the father of our 4th-year student, Jaker Hossain, has passed away today at 11:30 AM.

Inna Lillahi Wa Inna Ilayhi Raji'un

His Janaza will be held today after Asar Salah.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to Jaker and his family. May Allah (SWT) grant his father the highest place in Jannah and give the family strength and patience during this difficult time.

Please keep him in your prayers.

After weeks of thrilling matches and fierce competition, the CPS Cricket Tournament 2025 has come to an exciting conclusion! 🎉

From January 26 to February 11, five teams showcased their talent, teamwork, and passion for cricket:
🔥 Troyee (3rd Batch)
⚡ Invincible IV (4th Batch)
🏆 Majestic XI (5th Batch)
🔍 Sleuths (6th Batch)
⚖ Axiom 07 (7th Batch)

In an electrifying final showdown, Troyee (3rd Batch) 🆚 Invincible IV (4th Batch), both teams fought valiantly, but in the end, Troyee emerged as the CHAMPION! 🏆👏

A huge congratulations to Troyee for their victory and to all the teams for making this tournament a spectacular event! 🌟 Your sportsmanship, dedication, and enthusiasm made this tournament a true celebration of unity and healthy competition.

The Bangladesh Police Staff College recently formalized a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Department of Criminology and Police Science at the University of Chittagong, spanning a period of five years. The signing ceremony took place on June 29, 2024, at the International Conference Center of the Police Staff College.

Under this agreement, students enrolled in the Department of Criminology and Police Science at the University of Chittagong will be afforded the opportunity to engage in diverse research initiatives and internships. Additionally, they will have access to the cyber security laboratory facilities at the Police Staff College.

Md. Shakhawat Hossain, the Chairman and Mazharul Islam, Assistant Professor from Department of Criminology and Police Science represented the University of Chittagong during the signing, while Vice-Rector Rezaul Haq, Mohammad Shahjahan (Director of Research and Publication), and other officials represented the Police Staff College.

The workshop today on ‘Body Language Analysis in Criminal Investigation’ arranged by Department of Criminology and Police Science delved into the nuanced clues that can reveal a lot about a case. Thanks to everyone who attended and shared their thoughtful conversations and active involvement. We're making progress as a team towards a more sophisticated comprehension of human behaviour and its critical significance in the field of law enforcement.

Announcing the finalists of the '4th CPS Cricket Tournament 2024': CPS SMASHERS (3rd batch) and CPS NEERFIRE (4th batch). The grand finale will take place at A F Rahman Hall field on Friday, February 23rd.
