World Menopause Day -18 October

Menopause is not the end of a woman’s journey-it is the beginning of a new chapter.

It is a natural phase of life, yet the physical, emotional, and psychological changes that accompany it can profoundly affect a woman’s health and quality of life. Too often, these experiences are normalized, overlooked, or endured in silence.

On this World Menopause Day, let us move beyond silence and stigma. Let us listen without judgment, recognize symptoms without dismissal, and ensure that every woman has access to evidence-based information, compassionate care, and the support she deserves.

Because menopause is not merely about the absence of menstruation-it is about a woman’s overall health, wellbeing, and quality of life.

Learning Beyond the Textbook | Molecular Biology & Biotechnology Lab

As part of our academic learning, we, the Pharmacy 20th Batch, performed an experiment to detect the presence of uric acid in human blood in our Molecular Biology and Biotechnology Laboratory under the guidance of Anamika Datta Dyuti Ma’am.
Special thanks to Akhi Roy mam for her continuous support.

From theoretical concepts to practical laboratory experience, this experiment gave us an opportunity to strengthen our understanding of biochemical analysis and its importance in health assessment.

Every experiment brings us one step closer to connecting scientific knowledge with real-world application.

R. P. Shaha University at NSU Pharma Fest 2026

The Department of Pharmacy, R. P. Shaha University, was delighted to be part of NSU Pharma Fest 2026, organized by the North South University Pharmaceutical Club (NSUPC).

Bringing together pharmacy students from universities across the country, the fest created an exciting platform to test knowledge, exchange perspectives, and experience the spirit of healthy academic competition.

Our students actively participated in two exciting segments as following -

Pharma Debate:
1. Tasmim Jannatul Pritha (20 batch)
2. ⁠Nusrat Zahan (21 batch)
3. ⁠Md Abdur Rahman Himel (23 batch)

Pharma Olympiad :
1. Abir Hassan kanon (21 batch)
2. Nafisa Tabassum Tasin (21 batch)

More than a competition, the experience was a chance to build connections, gain new perspectives, and create lasting memories with fellow future pharmacists.

We sincerely appreciate the North South University Pharmaceutical Club (NSUPC) for hosting this event and bringing together students who share a common passion for pharmacy, learning, and professional growth.
