Subject-1: Naval Architecture
General displacement, wetted
surface, block, mid section,
prismatic and water plane area

rule in case of area, volume and
moment of volume.
Draught and buoyancy, Change
in average draught for changing
density of water. Buoyancy and

Transverse stability- center of

Subject-2: Machine Drawing
Drawing question paper will be
made to test the ability to use
projection rules. It will be asked
to student to draw plan,
elevation or section view (or all
of these view together) of a
marine machinery. To complete
drawing all kind of necessary
information will be provided in
question paper.
