The Inter-Batch Football Tournament 2026 of the Department of Sociology concluded on a high note with an exciting final match, celebrating sportsmanship, teamwork, and unity among students.

The champion and runner-up teams were awarded trophies, medals, and prize money during the closing ceremony.

The program was graciously honored by Prof. Dr. Khawza Iftekhar Uddin Ahmed, Honorable Pro Vice-Chancellor of Green University of Bangladesh, as the Chief Guest.

We were also privileged to have the presence of the following distinguished guests as Special Guests:

Prof. Dr. Md. Fayzur Rahman, Treasurer, Green University of Bangladesh; Captain (Navy) Shaikh Mohammad Salahuddin (TAS), NGP, psc (Retd.), Registrar, Green University of Bangladesh; Prof. Dr. M. Shahidullah, Dean, Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (FASS), Green University of Bangladesh.

The event was chaired by Prof. Dr. Abul Hossain, Chairperson, Department of Sociology, Green University of Bangladesh.
