On behalf of the IEEE BAUET Student Branch, we are delighted to share the highlights of our IEEE Day 2026 celebration, held on 6 October 2026 at Bangladesh Army University of Engineering & Technology (BAUET).

We extend our heartfelt respect and gratitude to our Honorable Vice-Chancellor, Brig Gen S M Lutfur Rahman, Sir, for gracing the occasion as the Chief Guest and for his valuable presence and encouragement added a great value to the celebration. Under the theme โ€œLeveraging Technology for a Better Tomorrow,โ€ the event featured an engaging Technical Seminar and Quiz Competition, bringing together students, faculty members, and professionals for a day of knowledge sharing, learning, and collaboration.

Technical Seminar:

Session 1: Cross-Border Power Import to Bangladesh through HVDC Interconnection: Technology, Operation and Grid Integration
