Today, we celebrate United Nations Day, commemorating the founding of the United Nations on 24 October 1945 and reaffirming its enduring vision of global peace, international cooperation, and a more just and sustainable world.

For over eight decades, the United Nations has brought nations together to address shared challenges, advance human rights, promote development, and strengthen the foundations of peace. Its mission reminds us that meaningful progress begins with dialogue, mutual understanding, and collective action.

Through dialogue and debate, we aspire to empower a generation committed to building a better world.
