The Department of Pharmacy, Gono Bishwabidyalay, successfully organized a Freshers’ Reception and Farewell Ceremony on 28 September 2026 at PHA Bhaban, Gonoshasthaya Kendra.

The program was graced by the presence of Professor Dr. Md. Abul Hossain, Honourable Vice Chancellor, Gono Bishwabidyalay, as the esteemed Chief Guest.

We were also honored to have A. A. Salim Barami, Director of Technical Operations, Incepta Pharmaceuticals Ltd., as the Special Guest.

The ceremony was further enriched by the gracious presence of Professor Dr. Zahirul Islam Khan, Dean, Faculty of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, and Professor Nilufar Sultana, Dean, Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, Gono Bishwabidyalay, as distinguished guests.

The program was chaired by Dr. Mst. Rozina Parul, respected Head of the Department of Pharmacy, whose leadership and guidance continue to inspire the department.

The event commenced with an inspiring speech session, where distinguished guests and faculty members shared valuable words of guidance, encouragement, and goodwill with the students. The occasion was especially meaningful as it welcomed the new students into the Pharmacy family while bidding a heartfelt farewell to the graduating students as they embarked on a new chapter of their lives.
The formal session was followed by a vibrant and delightful cultural program presented by the talented students of the Department of Pharmacy. Through music, dance, and artistic performances, the students transformed the evening into a celebration of friendship, memories, and togetherness.

The celebration was made even more meaningful by the gracious presence of our Honourable Vice Chancellor, Professor Dr. Md. Abul Hossain; Respected Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences, Dr. Md. Fuad Hossain; Respected Student Advisor, Md. Shah Alam; and Respected Head of the Department of Pharmacy, Dr. Mst. Rozina Parul, along with our esteemed faculty members and enthusiastic students.
