SIU_Business Administration Football Tournament! ⚽

The exciting 2-day football tournament, organized by the Department of Business Administration at Sylhet International University (SIU), has successfully come to an end with a thrilling final match!
In an epic battle on the field, Nexus FC played brilliantly and became the Champions, while Flying Eagles gave their best to take home the Runners-up trophy. Huge congratulations to both teams! 👏👏
After the match, a lively prize distribution ceremony took place. We were deeply honored to have our respected guests present to motivate the players:
Chief Guest: Professor Dr. Md. Ashraful Alam, Honorable Vice-Chancellor, SIU.
Special Guest: Professor Nitai Chandra Chanda, Honorable Treasurer, SIU
and Professor Shamsul Alam, Dean, Faculty of Business and Social Science, SIU. The head of the Department Dr. Md. Rezaul Kabir along with the heads of the English and CSE departments and faculty members, excited students, also joined the ceremony to cheer for the teams.
Our Honorable Vice-Chancellor handed over the beautiful trophies to the winners and runners-up, praising everyone for their amazing sportsmanship.

The Department of Business Administration at Sylhet International University (SIU) has officially kicked off its highly anticipated Intra-Department Football Tournament!

The grand opening ceremony was graced by our Honorable Vice-Chancellor, Professor Dr. Md. Ashraful Alam, who officially inaugurated the tournament as the Chief Guest.
Joining him as a special guest was the Honorable Treasurer of the University, Professor Nitai Chandra Chanda, alongside the faculty members of the Department of Business Administration, whose presence greatly inspired our student-athletes.
This exciting tournament features 7 energetic teams from the department, all ready to showcase their sportsmanship, teamwork, and passion on the field.

Stepping away from the traditional classrooms and exams, our students immersed themselves in the serene beauty of white stones and crystal-clear water. This tour wasn't just about sightseeing; it was a perfect blend of learning and recreation, providing everyone with a fantastic opportunity to develop teamwork, leadership skills, and bonding beyond academics.

The Department of Business Administration at Sylhet International University (SIU) successfully organized an insightful program titled "Business Case Competition: Key Solution and Presentation" on April 30, 2026, at the University Mini Auditorium.

The event was graced by the presence of our distinguished Chief Guest, Professor Dr. Md. Ashraful Alam, Honorable Vice-Chancellor of SIU, whose inspiring words motivated the students to strive for excellence in the corporate world.
We were also honored to have Professor Nitai Chandra Chanda, Honorable Treasurer of SIU, as the Special Guest, along with the active participation of all faculty members and enthusiastic students from the Department of Business Administration.

Successful Completion of Case Solving Workshop 🎓💼

The Department of Business Administration, Sylhet International University, successfully organized a Business Case Solving workshop.

The workshop provided students with practical insights into solving real-world business cases. Participants learned how to identify core business problems, analyze complex corporate situations and develop effective and strategic solutions. The session focused on enhancing analytical thinking, decision-making skills and practical application of theoretical knowledge in real-life corporate contexts.

Students of the Department actively participated in the workshop with great enthusiasm. All faculty members of the Department were present at the event, including the Dean of the Faculty and the Head of the Department, whose presence and guidance made the program more impactful and inspiring. It was an intensive learning experience where participants engaged in deconstructing complex business scenarios and proposing innovative solutions.
The workshop was conducted by Md. Mohsin Hossain, Assistant Professor, Department of Business Administration. His expertise and academic guidance provided the participants with invaluable insights into the nuances of professional problem-solving.

We are thrilled to share that the Department of Business Administration at Sylhet International University (SIU) successfully arranged the written examination for the much-anticipated "Biz-Quiz Contest" today.
The event took place in the University Hall Room, where our bright business minds gathered to showcase their analytical skills, general knowledge and command over the corporate world.
The event was held in a truly festive and competitive spirit, reflecting the vibrant academic culture of our department. The students tackled a rigorous set of questions designed to push their intellectual boundaries.
This contest is part of our department's ongoing commitment to fostering academic excellence and practical knowledge beyond the classroom.
