🎉 A Historic Milestone for RTM Al-Kabir Technical University 🎓
It is a matter of great pleasure and pride that RTM Al-Kabir Technical University successfully inaugurated the "RTM Al-Kabir Technical University Alumni Association" today, 4 August 2026, at the University Auditorium. This landmark event marks the beginning of a new chapter in strengthening the lifelong relationship between the University and its graduates.
The inauguration ceremony was graced by Professor Dr. Abu Naser Zafar Ullah, Honorable Vice-Chancellor, RTM Al-Kabir Technical University, as the Chief Guest. In his inspiring address, he highlighted the vital role of alumni in the University's academic excellence, institutional development, and national progress. He also interacted with the alumni by answering various questions related to academic and administrative matters and shared valuable guidance, particularly for graduates aspiring to pursue higher education abroad. At the conclusion of his speech, he formally declared the inauguration of the RTM Al-Kabir Technical University Alumni Association.
The program was chaired by Mr. Jamal Ahmed, Deputy Registrar, RTM Al-Kabir Technical University. In his presidential address, he expressed his sincere appreciation to all participants, organizers, faculty members, and alumni for their enthusiastic participation and continuous support, which contributed significantly to the success of the event.
The keynote presentation was delivered by Engr. MD. Abdul Awal Ansary, Director, Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) and Head, Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE). Through a comprehensive PowerPoint presentation, he highlighted the vision, mission, objectives, organizational structure, and future strategic plan of the Alumni Association. He also emphasized the importance of alumni engagement in enhancing academic quality, research, student development, and institutional excellence. Furthermore, he explained the significant role of alumni as key stakeholders in meeting the quality assurance and accreditation requirements of the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the Bangladesh Accreditation Council (BAC). At the end of the presentation, Alumni Membership Registration Forms were distributed among the graduates for primary membership enrollment.
The respected Heads of all academic departments actively participated in the program and shared their perspectives on the importance of alumni engagement. They emphasized that a vibrant Alumni Association would strengthen the University's academic environment, support student mentoring, enhance industry collaboration, and contribute to increasing future student enrollment.
Several alumni also shared their experiences and expressed their heartfelt appreciation for the initiative. They reaffirmed their commitment to supporting their alma mater through mentoring, professional networking, internships, career guidance, and other collaborative activities according to their capacities.
The ceremony concluded with a networking session over refreshments, providing an excellent opportunity for alumni, faculty members, and university officials to reconnect and strengthen professional and personal relationships.
The successful inauguration of the RTM Al-Kabir Technical University Alumni Association represents the beginning of a lifelong partnership between the University and its graduates.
Together, we aspire to build a vibrant, connected, and sustainable alumni community that will contribute to the continued excellence, innovation, and development of RTM Al-Kabir Technical University.
