The 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝘂𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 & 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 (𝗖𝗦𝗘) at 𝗦𝘆𝗹𝗵𝗲𝘁 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 successfully organized a seminar on “𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗜𝗧 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿: 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀, 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀.”

The session provided students with valuable insights into the modern IT industry, including essential technical skills, professional standards, workplace expectations, and emerging career opportunities. It served as an excellent platform for students to understand how academic knowledge connects with real-world industry demands.

Today’s seminar became more meaningful through the gracious presence of distinguished guests and experienced industry professionals. 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗿 𝗗𝗿. 𝗠𝗱. 𝗔𝘀𝗵𝗿𝗮𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗔𝗹𝗮𝗺, Honorable Vice Chancellor of SIU; 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗿 𝗡𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗶 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗮 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮, Treasurer of SIU; 𝗠𝗿. 𝗞𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝗛𝘂𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗶𝗻, Dean of the School of Science and Engineering; 𝗠𝗱. কম্পিউটার সায়েন্স অ্যান্ড ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং (CSE) বিভাগের শিক্ষার্থীদের একাডেমিক সমস্যা ও এর কার্যকর সমাধান নিয়ে আলোচনার উদ্দেশ্যে বিভাগ কর্তৃক “𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝗮𝗻” শীর্ষক একটি সফল ইন্টার‍্যাক্টিভ সেশন অনুষ্ঠিত হয়েছে।

সেশনে উপস্থিত ছিলেন জনাব খালেদ হোসেন, সহযোগী অধ্যাপক ও ডিন, স্কুল অব সায়েন্স অ্যান্ড ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং, এসআইইউ এবং জনাব মোঃ উমর ফারুক জাহাঙ্গীর, সহকারী অধ্যাপক ও বিভাগীয় প্রধান, সিএসই বিভাগ।

সেশনে শিক্ষার্থীরা তাদের একাডেমিক সমস্যা, অভিজ্ঞতা এবং প্রত্যাশা উপস্থাপন করে। সম্মানিত ডিন সেগুলোর উপর তাৎক্ষণিক দিকনির্দেশনা ও কার্যকর সমাধানের দিক নির্দেশ করেন, যা তাদের একাডেমিক অগ্রগতিতে সহায়ক ভূমিকা রাখবে। এই সেশন শিক্ষার্থীদের সক্রিয় অংশগ্রহণ এবং উদ্দীপনার মাধ্যমে আরও অর্থবহ হয়েছে, যা বিভাগের সমর্থনমূলক ও শিক্ষার্থী-কেন্দ্রিক শিক্ষার পরিবেশ নিশ্চিত করার অঙ্গীকারকে প্রতিফলিত করে।

বিভাগ ভবিষ্যতেও এ ধরনের উদ্যোগ অব্যাহত রাখার প্রত্যাশা ব্যক্ত করছে, যা শিক্ষার্থীদের সঙ্গে কার্যকর যোগাযোগ, সমস্যা সমাধান এবং একটি সহায়ক একাডেমিক পরিবেশ গড়ে তুলতে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ভূমিকা রাখে।

The 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝘂𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 & 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 (𝗖𝗦𝗘) at 𝗦𝘆𝗹𝗵𝗲𝘁 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 organized a Special Session on 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴, along with a programming contest to enhance students’ practical skills.

The session focused on strengthening problem-solving techniques, logical thinking, and competitive programming strategies. Students actively participated in the session and the contest, gaining valuable hands-on experience in a competitive and engaging environment.

The program was graced by the presence of 𝗠𝗱. 𝗨𝗺𝗮𝗿 𝗙𝗮𝗿𝘂𝗸 𝗝𝗮𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗿, Head of the Department of CSE, whose presence and encouraging remarks greatly motivated the participating students.

Such initiatives reflect the department’s continuous effort to promote a strong competitive programming culture and support students in developing essential technical skills.

To strengthen communication and mentorship, the department has assigned dedicated academic advisors for each level-term under the Regular Program and Weekend Program for Professionals. পবিত্র মাহে রমজান উপলক্ষে কম্পিউটার সায়েন্স অ্যান্ড ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং বিভাগ-এর পক্ষ থেকে সকলকে জানাই আন্তরিক শুভেচ্ছা।

রমজান আত্মশুদ্ধি, সংযম, ধৈর্য ও মানবিকতার শিক্ষা দেয়। জ্ঞানার্জনের পথে একাগ্রতা ও সততার সঙ্গে এগিয়ে যাওয়ার প্রেরণা হোক রমজানের অন্যতম শিক্ষা।
