The 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐌𝐨𝐨𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐭 𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐭𝐲 (𝐋𝐔𝐌𝐂𝐒) takes immense pride in celebrating the remarkable achievement of 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐋𝐔𝐌𝐂𝐒 at the 𝐁𝐌𝐔 𝐁𝐒𝐈𝐋 𝟏𝐬𝐭 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐌𝐨𝐨𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧. Once again, our members have carried the name of Leading University to the national stage with dedication, determination, and a commendable display of advocacy and legal research.

Adding a particularly distinguished chapter to this achievement, 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐬 𝐀𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐮𝐳𝐳𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐒𝐡𝐢𝐮𝐦 has been awarded the 𝐁𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐎𝐫𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝 🏆.
More remarkably, this marks his 𝐬𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐁𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐎𝐫𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝 at the national level, following his previous recognition in a national moot court competition. To see such excellence repeated on the national stage is a moment of immense pride for 𝐋𝐔𝐌𝐂𝐒 . Shium’s achievement reflects not only his exceptional advocacy and preparation, but also the consistency and dedication he continues to bring to every courtroom. We are truly beyond proud of this remarkable accomplishment and wish him a prosperous journey ahead, with many more milestones yet to come.

We also extend our sincere congratulations to the entire team for their remarkable performance throughout the competition. Their collective effort, perseverance, and commitment have contributed greatly to this achievement and once again made 𝐋𝐔𝐌𝐂𝐒 proud.

The newly formed Executive Committee (2026–27) and Advisory Board of the Leading University Moot Court Society (LUMCS) paid a courtesy visit to the Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor, Professor Dr. Mohammad Taj Uddin, and exchanged greetings. His valuable guidance and warm wishes will serve as a great source of inspiration for LUMCS in its journey towards greater excellence.🌿

লিডিং ইউনিভার্সিটির উপাচার্য অধ্যাপক ড. মোহাম্মদ তাজ উদ্দিনের সাথে "লিডিং ইউনিভার্সিটি মুটকোর্ট সোসাইটি"র নবগঠিত কার্যনির্বাহী কমিটি (২০২৬-২৭) এবং উপদেষ্টা পরিষদের শুভেচ্ছা বিনিময় হয়েছে।

A meaningful beginning to a promising new journey of Leading University Moot Court Society (LUMCS) ⚖️✨

On 29 July 2026, the 1st General Meeting of the Steering Committee (2026-2027) was held at Gallery-3, Ragib Ali Bhaban, Leading University. The meeting was Chaired by Ms. Nadia Rahman Mim, President of LUMCS, and conducted by Ms. Nusrat Jahan Nilom, General Secretary of LUMCS in accordance with the predetermined agenda.

We were truly honoured by the presence of our respected Advisor, Mr. Md. Rezaul Karim, Assistant Professor, Department of Law, LU, and Mentor, Mr. Md. Rajib Hossain, Lecturer, Department of Law, LU. The meeting was attended by the majority of the Steering Committee members, making the session lively, participatory, and productive.

Throughout the meeting, we discussed the pre-scheduled agendas in detail, including regular moot court sessions and workshops, the proposed moot court room, formation of sub-committees, review of mooting progress, and the upcoming member registration programme. Through thoughtful discussions and collective participation, several fruitful and constructive solutions were reached unanimously for the effective functioning and future development of LUMCS.

The most heartwarming moment came at the end of the meeting, when the Advisory Body warmly welcomed the Presidential Body of the Steering Committee (2026-2027) with flowers, making the beginning of this new chapter even more memorable and encouraging.

With optimism, unity, and a shared vision for the Society, we concluded the meeting with the hope that LUMCS will continue to hold more such fruitful and impactful general meetings in the near future.

Together, we begin this journey with dedication, collaboration, and the spirit of excellence.

An advisor's guidance shapes not only individuals but also institutions. The role of an advisor is far beyond the guidance on paper. The advisor is the one who maps out the future path of an organisation. It is our privilege to have Sir's wisdom, experience, and unwavering support as we continue our journey of promoting advocacy, legal excellence, and the values of justice.
