Today, on the occasion of International Women's Day, a meaningful seminar was organized by the Leading University Moot Court Society on the theme “𝐋𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐖𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧: 𝐅𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞.”

Students from every batch actively shared their thoughts and concerns.
The President of the Moot Court Society highlighted the 𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐡𝐮𝐫𝐭 𝐰𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧’𝐬 𝐝𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐝 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧, 𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐤 𝐮𝐩, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐬𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐯𝐨𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐭 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦 𝐨𝐟 𝐯𝐢𝐨𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐭 𝐰𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧.

While our respected teachers Mr Maraz Miah, Lecturer,
Mr. Rajib Hossain, Lecturer, Department of Law provided valuable insights on 𝐞𝐱𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐥𝐚𝐰𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐝𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐫 𝐞𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐜𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭.

Mr. Abdullah Al-Mamun, Associate Professor and Head, department of Law and advisor of Leading University Moot court society assured all students 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙧𝙚𝙢𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙨 𝙖 𝙨𝙖𝙛𝙚 𝙨𝙥𝙖𝙘𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙛𝙛𝙞𝙧𝙢𝙚𝙙 𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙞𝙩𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙩𝙤 𝙨𝙪𝙥𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩 𝙖𝙣𝙮𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙛𝙖𝙘𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙝𝙖𝙧𝙖𝙨𝙨𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙤𝙧 𝙞𝙣𝙟𝙪𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙘𝙚.

আমি কি ভুলিতে পারি।"

আজ ২১শে ফেব্রুয়ারী, মহান শহীদ দিবস এবং আন্তর্জাতিক মাতৃভাষা দিবস উপলক্ষে ১৯৫২ সালে মাতৃভাষার জন্য এবং নিজেদের অধিকার টিকিয়ে রাখার জন্য আন্দোলনের শহীদদের গভীর শ্রদ্ধায় স্মরণ করে, লিডিং ইউনিভার্সিটির কেন্দ্রীয় শহীদ মিনারে শ্রদ্ধাঞ্জলি দিতে প্রভাত ফেরিতে অংশগ্রহণ করে লিডিং ইউনিভার্সিটি মুট কোর্ট সোসাইটি।

এই দিনটি আমাদের স্মরণ করায়, অদম্য সংগ্রামের, এগিয়ে যাওয়ার আর পিছু না হটার। পুরো বিশ্ব তা-ই এই দিনটিকে স্মরণ করে স্ব স্ব মাতৃভাষার প্রতি শ্রদ্ধা জ্ঞাপন করে।

The Prize Giving Ceremony of LUMCS Sports Fest 2026 was held on 2nd February 2026, marking a memorable conclusion to the two-day sports celebration.

The program was graced by the presence of Honourable Chief Guest Danobir Dr. Syed Ragib Ali, Chairman of the Leading University Trustee Board.
The ceremony was presided over by the Honourable Vice-Chancellor of Leading University, Professor Dr. Mohammad Taj Uddin, with the presence of Registrar Mr. Mofizul Islam and other respected guests.

The event celebrated dedication, teamwork, and excellence, inspiring students to continue striving both on and off the field.

The Leading University Moot Court Society successfully organized LUMCS Sports Fest 2026 on 31st January & 1st February 2026, bringing together the students of the Department of Law in a vibrant celebration of sports and teamwork.

With participation across 19 indoor and outdoor segments, the event showcased enthusiasm, discipline, and competitive spirit among the students.

LUMCS Sports Fest 2026 was not just about winning, it was about fostering unity, leadership, and a healthy balance between academic excellence and extracurricular engagement.

𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐌𝐨𝐨𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐭 𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐭𝐲 (𝐋𝐔𝐌𝐂𝐒) proudly celebrates its first-ever participation in the *Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition 2026 – National Qualifying Rounds, marked by the honorable achievement of the "Spirit of the JESSUP" Award.

Renowned as the world’s largest and most prestigious international law moot court competition, the Jessup Moot tests participants on advanced issues of public international law, advocacy excellence, research depth, and professional ethics. Competing at this platform reflects not only legal competence but also integrity, teamwork, and respect for the spirit of international legal discourse.

This remarkable achievement was made possible by the dedication and commitment of our team:
