AIBA Social Welfare Club Organizes Iftar for Orphan Children.

On 11 March 2026, the AIBA Social Welfare Club organized a special Iftar program for orphan children, bringing joy and warmth to an evening dedicated to compassion and social responsibility.

Around 40 children from a local orphanage participated in the program and enjoyed a memorable Iftar together with the members of the club. The event created a joyful atmosphere where the children shared laughter, stories, and the excitement of the upcoming Eid.

In addition to the Iftar meal, the children were provided with Eid gifts and new clothes. Receiving the new outfits brought immense happiness to the children, and their cheerful smiles reflected the success of the initiative.

The program aimed to spread the spirit of kindness and solidarity during the holy month of Ramadan by standing beside children who are deprived of parental care and family support.

Through such initiatives, the AIBA Social Welfare Club continues to demonstrate its commitment to social welfare and community engagement, with the hope of contributing more in the future to the well-being of underprivileged people.

We are delighted to announce that Sayed Sorower Zahan, a student of BBA 13, has won the "Best Innovation Award" at the Digital Device & Innovation Expo 2026. The event was organized by the ICT Division, Bangladesh Hi-Tech Park Authority, and Bangladesh Computer Samity (BCS).

The event took place at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Conference Center from 28 to 31 January 2026. The largest technology expo was sponsored by Samsung, Lenovo, Oppo, and many other tech giant companies. Professor Dr. Muhammad Yunus attended the event as the Chief Guest.

This achievement reaffirms that Army IBA students have the potential to lead innovation and take the institute to even greater heights. It fills us with immense pride to see our students perform so incredibly.

Reception Program | Welcoming BBA-14 | Army IBA, Sylhet.

Army Institute of Business Administration (AIBA), Sylhet warmly welcomed BBA-14, with students joining from 41 districts across the country, a reflection of the institution’s growing national presence.

The program featured inspiring speeches from representatives of BBA-13 and BBA-14, followed by a motivating address by our respected Director, Brig. Gen. Kazi Mohammad Kaiser Hossain, who also interacted with guardians. The guardians expressed their appreciation and left reassured about the academic excellence, discipline, and values upheld at AIBA.

The event concluded with a guided campus tour, marking the beginning of a promising new journey for our freshers.

We wish BBA-14 a successful and enriching academic journey ahead.

On 21st January 2026, the Army Institute of Business Administration (AIBA), Sylhet successfully hosted an academic seminar titled “Demystifying Research: Challenges and Skills in Academic Publications.”

The program was graced by Brigadier General Kazi Mohammad Kaiser Hossain, Director of AIBA Sylhet, as the Chief Guest.

The keynote address was delivered by Professor Muhammad Moshfique Uddin, PhD, Chair in Financial Management at Leeds University Business School, University of Leeds, UK. Drawing on his extensive international academic and editorial experience, Professor Uddin shared valuable insights on academic research, publication strategies, and the challenges faced by researchers in publishing in leading journals.

The seminar was attended by students, faculty members, and officers, fostering meaningful academic interaction and discussion. The presence of Professor Dr. Fazle Elahi Md Faisal and Professor Dr. Mohammad Ashraful Ferdous Chowdhury from Shahjalal University of Science and Technology further enriched the program.

Following the seminar, the Chief Guest, Keynote Speaker, and Special Guests paid a courtesy visit to Major General Alimul Amin, SUP, ndc, psc, MPhil, Chairman of the Governing Body of AIBA Sylhet, and General Officer Commanding (GOC), 17 Infantry Division & Area Commander, Sylhet Area.
